About Me

There are different kind of relationships between people. Some of them are based on utility, another ones on pleasure. I prefer to build relationships that are based on mutual respect and common interests, because I think this kind of connection last longer then anything else. Thus, my top three priorities are career, family and healthy lifestyle which include such things as being vegetarian, not smoking, and doing a wide range of summer and winter sports. In particular, you can find me hiking and biking in a summer and skating, skiing and snowshoeing in a winter.In addition, I enjoy playing racket sports and doing yoga flows all year round. Aside from that I actively participate in the life of the community by attending and volunteering at different cultural and social events.As for music, I prefer jazz and folk and don't mind rock.I like to travel and to explore new places and feel equally comfortable being an organizer of a trip or a tourist.     - moved here 2 years ago for school. I'm a nursing student and school has taken up the vast majority of my life and as a result I don't have much of one.     Alright...so like I said above...here we go again (insert Whitesnake song here!) LOL...anywho, what to say? I like going out and being social quite often, so you might see me out and about with my friends :). I have a job that I really like, and strive to be great at it. I play hockey, golf and slo-pitch (which all kind of go hand-in-hand with said socializing!). I've played hockey since I was in grade 4, so it's something that I hope I will still be doing for a long time yet! I don't have a favourite team, but I cheer on the Canucks whenever possible. Most music makes me happy, if I can dance to it, I'll probably like it...just don't bust out any classical or jazz on me and I think we will get along just fine! A full 3 months away spent volunteering, wwoofing, exploring beaches, working a little, checking out intentional communities and permaculture farms, and mostly living simply and very inexpensively.
