In the winter I'm more of an indoor kind of girl with the exception of skiing.I don't really allow myself a whole bunch of spare time (one may call me a mover and a shaker) as I have a fantastic career that keeps me busy and when I'm not working I like to travel, go for drinks (espeically on a patio!!), I do like to spend time at home once in a while catching up on my fav tv shows or watching a movie. I am making a conscious effort to get out there and try new things and be more active. I enjoy going for walks, hiking, rollerblading (I'm not an all-star by any means but am certainly getting better).I love to watch football (I find NFL more entertaining but I watch both) and hockey, play golf and volleyball, I love music pretty much all kinds, also I love to cook and bake! I'm looking for someone who is honest (don't just tell me what you think I want to hear), goal oriented, driven, thoughtful, funny, trustworthy, good communicator, doesn't try to run my life or try to make me into the person they think I should be (I'm not about to do the same either) also someone who wants a family, is fun, outgoing and likes to try new things. I think there is an initial shock of having to be on meetville just to meet/talk to someone. Needless to say, the thought of asking someone in a grocery store about cantaloupe ripeness, is also frightening; I have decided this is the lesser of two evils. About me....I am a dedicated mother of one busy toddler, when I say dedicated I mean you will not find me in the bars weekly...or monthly for that matter. My idea of a good night is hitting up the playgrounds/swimming pool/tobogganing hill for some fun. That being said I choose to keep my son out of my dating life. Back in John after an incredible summer off...I work as a medic in the oilfield but I recently finished taking my Safety Officer and Rescue training so I'm hoping to get into a Safety position on my next project. I love to travel, whether it's just to the nearest lake, a road trip across country, a vacation down south or to somewhere exotic. But most of all I like to have a good time where ever I am. I like to have fun and meet new people. I work a lot and am usually on the move to somewhere or other when I'm not working. im not looking to settle down by any means but it might be nice to have a partner in crime along for some of my shenanigans ;)What I'm looking for is people to spend time with doing fun things in the summer like fishing, camping, hiking, etc.... I like to go out on the river (if you have a boat) or on a quad (if you have a quad). I really like to cook (especially with a glass of wine in hand) and in the winter i ski (down hill or x-country). When the weather is nice I like to be outside and I would much rather go fishing then shopping! I enjoy a good BBQ (who doesn't though?). And I really like to laugh and have a good time wherever I am. Well in my experience I have found the best place to meet for a first date is usually at a pub for a drink and an appetizer.
