About Me

Hi! Some things about me..... This has caused me some heartache in the past. I am hopeful though that my two years of being out of town has now bought me more office time, and I would like to find someone to share this time with. I will likely always have a field component though, so time away from home ***weeks) will be part of my reality and I do enjoy the work I do. When home, I like to visit friends, go for drinks, watch movies, and find time to visit my family. I also have an adorable cat that requires cuddles on a regular basis. I go to the gym (not enough), I like swimming and yoga. I like to ride my bike around town. I think I'm a pretty cool chick, I've travelled in the past and would like to do so again. I've had a wide range of work experience through the years so I'm pretty relatable, and I'm open to new ideas and points of view. Music.... no rap, no techno or whatever that trancey crap is lol. Standard top 40 type and some country here and there. Guess that about does it! :) I'm not picky on this. I would entertain pretty much anything. The standard coffee or beer also works for me. No movies though.... awkward :p

    I hate these things just an FYI. I work for the army as a civilian and absolutely love working for them. I worked for TSA before that for 7 years and hated that. I was a foster parent for 5 years and found it to be very rewarding and eventually would like to do it again. From doing foster care I adopted my son who is 7. I'm so greatful he s in my life. He teaches me that you can overcome any obstacle that is put in your way.. The first 5 years of his childhood where horrible and he has came so far. I do want kids of my own. I come from a crazy loud Irish family and couldn't I imagine only have one or two kids. I'm pretty much down for any type of activity or hobby as long as it doesnt involve small enclosed places and any techno music. Lol. I love to travel and usually go on two to three big vacations a year. My son has probably been more places then most kids his age. LolI'm looking for my soulmate and best friend. Along the way if I make some new friends that would be awesome. I'm not looking for one night stands or sexual encounters and most important drama. I have respect for my self and body.
