I'm really not sure about this online dating stuff. No offense to everyone else out there, but it just seems like it shouldn't come down to this......might as well give it a shot, right?The most important things in my life, hands down: my friends, my animals, and my 3 godsons. I might be biased, but they're the cutest kids ever! :-) I'm very much passionate about helping others less fortunate.....until it doesn't feel like helping anymore, and more like enabling. If you don't care enough to recycle (or are one of "those" people who actually believe we're not killing our planet daily), we're going to have issues. It sickens me to think how wasteful and selfish the average American can be. :-( If you volunteer (in any capacity), serve our country in the military, work long hours for a good cause (i.e. nurse or social worker), are a law enforcement officer (police, fire, ***, etc).....my heart goes out to you. You are truly underappreciated, yet so incredibly needed!I hate romantic chick-flicks. Puke.-obviously-fell-in-love-at-the-end movie. But i also do not like gross, bloody, gory movies like "Saw" and "Hostel". Exception to the rule: I will (and MUST) see ANYTHING Jennifer Aniston is in. :-)I'm not a pessimist, but i AM a realist. People tend to confuse the two. I do not think life is full of glitter and rainbows. There’s a lot of evil in the world, and closing your eyes to it, doesn't make it go away. However, i'm also the first one to sit back and take in life's little wonders.I love baseball and hockey. I love, love, LOVE old ballparks. Fenway is close to heaven on earth. I'm indifferent to football. I don't care how many superbowls the Cowboys win. (Sorry if that's a deal-breaker). ;-)Traveling is a MUST in my life. I've been quite a few places, but there are still sooooo many places i need to go! I like the local culture of places. I definitely don't need to stay in 5-star hotels (and would prefer NOT to!) or eat at white linen restaurants when i'm somewhere new. I cringe when people know i'm a tourist.So that’s me. It’s a bigger "nut-shell" than i anticipated....oops! Bottom line: if you don't LOVE animals, the Earth, and travel.....don't bother. ;-)PS.........I like to stay up late & takes naps during the day.........I hope you do too. ;-) I don't care so much about the place or "type" of date..........but more about the guy. I just really want to laugh. If you have an awesome sense of humor (not the cheesy kind, that causes forced laughter), i'll be in heaven.If you're too proud to admit when you're wrong, keep walking. Or, even worse, if your ego is so enflated that you think you can do no wrong...........i'm allset.I don't like to go out alot. I did that in my 20's. I'm over it. Screeching drunk girls annoy the hell out of me. As do guys who think they're too cool for school and wear their stunner shades at 11pm.......inside. I'm really just looking for someone who can hit the gym hard & bring the energy, but then as the day is winding down, hang out on the couch with a J & watch a movie.

    I've just come to the conclusion I have no life now, and I am very lonely, so decided to come check out all your fishermanly's.I've been divorced since November 10, ***and I've been a single since. I am a full time mother of three children two girls ages 18 &***, currently in my third semester of school to gain my Associates in Science w***year transfer degree. How I arrived here. I've had a hard life. I grew up faster then most, because I was raised by a single mother, that raised both my brother and I alone with many hardships along the way. I walked away from my 10 year relationship, that came with many mistakes and lessons learned. I wont bring bad feelings to a new relationship, I am more mature then that and know everyone is equally different. I am the most understanding person and I don't judge. I believe in trust & security. I want to believe in Love again and know that it doesn't hurt and have my children know what partnership really looks like, that it's not one sided and no war to win or battle to choose. That what we put out to the universe is what matters & put out what you want back. I hope to hear from you. Currently life is good & I'm happy; just miss him happy next to me. Maybe YOU! My schedule currently - Monday's & Wednesday's are full with school at campus. The rest of the week and days and times I choose to work on my online classes are still up in the air. I'm pretty easy to please. I like concerts, love boating, small group of friends around a bomb fire, going swimming, a evening of put put golf or regular golf, mud bogging or trail riding, a nice walk & going out for ice cream on a summer evening. A competitive sport like paint ball war, bowling, or something fun and active. I love to laugh and be a goof, easy everyday activities to get to know each -other best. We could even go storm chasing! Ha, ha, ha..I really like creativity in a man. Second date idea's are more of dinner and Movie home or out. I've always wanted that old fashion date where the man actually makes arrangements to woe you off your feet, has the plans made, know the time to be ready to get picked up and when my children can expect me home sort of date. I have never dated and would like to think it is a good experience. :p
