I am a complete sucker for classic comedies with true comedians like John Candy, and any tasteful dry/sarcastic comedy like office space is amazing for incessant movie quotes with someone who shares my sense of humor (laughing from the gut about silly/stupid/inane/classic things). Finally, I do enjoy my off time, my "me" time, and independence away from another individual is a necessity for everyone's sanity. Who can't agree with that??!!!??? :) There are 3 non-negotiables when it comes to relationships on which I will never budge...if you do not meet all 3 of these, we will not ever be compatible for dating or more. I have had too many men continue to contact me regardless of these 3 basic requirements, and I ask that you please meet all 3 prior to contacting me.1. You must respect and honor our military, as I come from a strong military family2. Spend a decent amount of time with my family, mainly my sister (her hubs and 2 boys), and I have a standing Saturday date with my feisty 92 year old grandmother.I enjoy traveling and seeing new things. Wish I had more money and time for more adventures. I'm a total book nerd that's constantly reading. Nothing smart or enlightening, but fluff. Languages: I can talk in movie quotes. Granted it's girly movie quotes mainly, but still. There are some movies I have memorized and can subconsciously repeat the whole movie while watching. It can be annoying. I'm also fluent in sarcasm. AND!! I can speak German. I haven't really used it conversationally in 10 years, so it's a bit rough. I try to watch/read things to keep it a little active.I enjoy all sorts of movies. Oldies, 80s, some action, musicals, comedies. However, I tend to not enjoy watching things that are over the top in profanity/vulgarity, yet I tend to talk like a sailor (go figure). I also have a love/hate with horror movies, I'm a jumper and sometimes a screamer.I like a wide range of music from oldies, 80's, alt rock, indie, folk, one hit wonders.I love laughing. My humor tends to be a bit juvenile and dirty at times. I hate clowns, zombies, creepy dolls, snakes, scorpions, spiders, mushrooms and tomatoes.Like most people, I'm a shy extrovert. In new situations it takes me a bit to warm up. Once I'm comfy, I can be very out going.In college I did a testimonial for an informercial! Haha. I never saw it on TV though.
