Where do you meet new people? I keep asking myself that question. I have been back in this area for seven years. This description section is difficult for me to write. I own my home, have wonderful friends, a good job and family nearby; however, I would enjoy meeting someone to share some good times. Even though I own several t.v.'s I rarely watch them except for an occasional movie......usually, I enjoy peace and quiet or music playing in the background. I like to be around positive people and those who enjoy being active. Dating at this time in my life, isn't exactly easy, but hey I am giving it a try. I would enjoy hearing from someone who has similar interests or can introduce me to something new and exciting. I enjoy listening to live music...so perhaps a music venue or a great cup of coffee would be a nice way to meet someone.... Or a nice long walk.

I travel for work and go to some wonderful places and would love to have someone share so of that with me or even just share the experiences I have had. I have been lucky in my career to have had wonderful bosses who supported me along the way and hopefully I now relay that to my co-workers and teammates. I am a die hard rock and roll fan -- and yes, I mean the 70's and 80's! I do like some of today's music, I am not that out of touch! But I really can't beat ZZ Top, Aerosmith, and others from my past (and obviously my present - lol). I have recently started Zumba and I enjoy it -- notice I did not say I was good at it -- I have not quite gotten the hang of it yet, but I will keep trying and going. I love just hanging out with my family and friends -- dinners, pool time, drinks, just about anything. I also love going riding on a motorcycle, I don't drive one, but I love to ride on back and I have my own helmet and riding boots. I am not a 'biker chick', I just like to ride. I am financially 'okay' - by that I mean I don't have lots of debt and I don't want someone else's either. I don't mean to sound rude, but at our age, you should have it together. I don't think you need to make a lot of money, I just think you need to be wise with what money you do make -- that's all. Oh, and one last thing .... I am not a bar hopper, I prefer to not hang out in them other than maybe a Happy Hour with my friends. I will go and I will have a good time, it is just not an all time thing for me. I think a first date should be somewhere you are both comfortable and a place where you can talk without having to yell or speak directly in the other one's ear to be heard. Dinners are nice, but I would rather do something fun like a Braves game or go bowling.
