I'm a mom, a business owner, a gardener, a nature lover, a music lover, a great friend, and a lot more. I've been divorced for a couple of years, and although I never get bored, my friends insist that I have too much to offer not to share it with someone special. Hmmmmm. They are right! If my son doesn't have an athletic event that I look forward to attending, I spend almost all of my spare time outside when the weather is nice, either working in one of my veggie gardens, on my perennial beds, taking care of or riding my horse and my mini farm, or playing with my dog and just relaxing. I love to hike and snow ski, love the beach and the mountains equally, and feel blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the country. I stay really busy by choice. There is always something that needs doing, but I keep my options open to be able to have plenty of fun. I love to go hear live music, and enjoy most genres with the exception of rap and heavy metal. I work out several times a week and try to eat healthy for the most part. So far, for my age, I'm holding my own! I would like to meet someone who also takes care of himself but can relax and enjoy a good meal and a drink with me. I have an active lifestyle and seek the same in a SO. First and foremost, I want someone with a good sense of humor who is outgoing, confident without being****, has a successful career and is happy with where they are in life. Personality-wise, I'm an outgoing smart ass. There, I said it! Its who I am. I'm very independent and a liberal thinker. Individualism is what this country is all about, and I respect everyones' right to their own opinion. If you are an extrovert without being a bulldozer, we will probably get along just fine. Well educated, quick thinkers are attractive to me as are guys who make their mamas proud by using their manners. I was raised in the South in the 60's and 70's, so I can surely recognize a gentleman when I see one, and I sure appreciate a polite person. So, that's about all of the written wisdom I have to offer here. If your interest is piqued, drop me line and we'll see where it goes. A good first date is going somewhere where I can show my personality. I am not good at making small talk under the auspices of "a first date". I prefer to do something active, like going for a walk, going to a concert, etc. Going out for drinks or coffee can be soooooooo awkward!
