I'm fun loving and friendly, my kids are out of the house and now I'm looking to have some adult time. I love to travel, take day trips and stop at quaint little shops along the way. I love the Ocean and the Mountains. I enjoy reading autobiographies, historically based writings, National Geographic magazine, and anything else that may catch my interest. Knitting and crafting are cathartic. When I go out with friends we often end up at Karaoke shows...what fun! I work as a Nurse at a Assisted living facility in the Fan District I enjoy my job and feel blessed to work with wonderful elder people each day. It is hard work but always rewarding.! I feel that what we do with our lives should make a difference, and we should give as much as we take. I enjoy lots of different movies, most types of music, although I usually run the other way when Hip Hop or Rap is played! Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock, Country are my favorites. A first date could be meeting for dinner and talking, laughing and enjoying each others company. Hopefully finding out that we have common interests and passions. Empathy; It is a daily thing in my life. I am in the medical field I feel for others. I try not to judge, but that does not allow me to be a rug for someone. I have been taught in life it does not matter how much money I make or how much education I have, blowing out someone else s candle only darkens the room, does not make me a better person. I do charity work for children's and battered women's groups at this time. I like giving back to others. Education; I love learning, will continue to learn on a daily basis. I strive to make ME the best I can be, does not mean I will ever be perfect but I keep trying day by day. To sum it up: My life is a accumulations of everything that I have experienced good and bad . Without the bad stuff the good would never have seemed so enriching to my growth and soul. FYI to same some time :I will not have sex on the first date, or will I ever look at sex as a casual thing.
