I believe everyone should go to a Jimmy Buffett concert at least once, if not more. It's as much fun as a person can have without breaking any laws. Fins up!!! Yes I was raised Catholic but I don't attend church anymore. I lean more towards good karma rather than misguided dogma. I believe there is more than one road to the Divine. I haven't had good luck dating people who aren't fairly "local" (actually I haven't had good luck dating at all!! lol) so I tend to avoid that frustration now. when I get these "so and so" wants to meet you, I take it with a grain of salt, someone saying they like my picture. I usually don't respond unless someone actually writes to me. Just an FYI. by the way, I've been transitioning to a more plant based diet. so I won't be going for a steak or a burger on a date. He's my best friend and we walk all the time on the bike path!! He gets me off the couch just like a best friend would do. She died a couple of years ago. but thanks for your interest! Rent the DVD if you want to experience an "older woman". The Graduate is a great movie!POF made me choose a word to describe my personality. I chose hippy but I think it's supposed to be hippie, lol, like... peace signs, getting back to nature, etc. oh well. And, I'm actually 58. I'm doing neither of those. It would be nice if I meet someone nice but I don't have high hopes. I haven't even been meeting or dating in a while. I have some things that I'm trying to improve about myself. I've worked 12 hour night shifts for the past 5 years and I've put on a few pounds that I'm not happy about so I'm trying to get them off. But then again.... if someone doesn't want me at my worst, they sure as h*ll don't deserve me at my best. ; )
