I've had the.good fortune to live and work in 9 countries. I've lived on a tiny cay in the Bahamas with no electricity or running water. One of my devices is playing from the time I have breakfast till I eventually turn to my DVR to try to catch up on my favorite shows . Love movies, especially good foreign films. Health is very important to me; Love the beach and respect the sea. Fishing is a blast but not hunting. And no, you won't find me choosing to camp unless its in a 4 star resort. I love good food but don't need to be in a 5 star restaurant to find it. I'm a down to earth woman who tells it as it is but would never hurt anyone on purpose. I do believe chemistry is vital in starting any relationship but to make it last there has to be trust, respect, laughter, caring and compassion. At this moment not seeking a permanent relationship, but a steady one. That can change over time. Am I want you need in your life ? I think the best way to meet and learn to know someone is to spend quiet time with them, conversing over a nice meal in a quiet restaurant, preferably one with live entertainment, followed by a nice stroll , if weather allows, on a beach, if not, down a charming area with shop windows, both fuel for conversation.

It's always hard describing myself so let's try this. My friends have described me as sensitive, caring, loyal, compassionate, having inner strength and of course a good sense of humour (actually a little twisted). My kids are always moaning about my jokes. I love last minute weekend getaways and drives to nowhere special- maybe the beach but it's getting a little cool for that now. I really enjoy the outdoors. In the nice weather I'd much rather be outside by water- pool, lake, ocean, whatever. I enjoy walking along the waterfront, hiking, dinner, movies, wine tours, swimming, rollerblading (love it but haven’t done it in awhile), plays, sports events- Leafs, Jays etc. Pilates is my new favourite. Got hooked on it a couple of years ago and now I go to classes 3 times a week. That being said, I still enjoy watching a good movie or TV show and snuggling with a special person. I do like holding hands, cuddling, and spending quiet time together as well..I like all types of music from rock to classical but my favourites are rock***s, 80s and current. This is going to sound really serious but I believe in the principles of fairness and “do unto others”. If you treat others with respect and kindness, you won’t always get it back in return but most times you will. I’m looking for someone with similar interests but someone who can also introduce me to new things. A good sense of humour and the ability to make me laugh are a must. Right now I'm just looking to date, get out and enjoy life. If it turns into more, that would be great, but no pressure. You should be adventurous, understanding, warm, caring, and be willing to try new adventures, especially traveling.; France especially, in the future.My 2 wonderful kids are both mid to late twenties and now it’s my time to get out there and enjoy.
