My boys are almost grown...well if there is such a thing! 3 boys 24, 20 & 19...the two youngest both graduated this past year...thank you God...I am done with school! lol Some parents talk about how sad they are that their kids have all graduated...ha...not me! Then if you hit it off spend some time getting to know someone...this I have to get to know you before we meet...lol ah naw...trust me...commit to meeting...within 10 minutes of your time your gonna know if this person is even worth getting to know! Just do it! (Yep stole it from Nike!) lol Love a man with a personality and a great smile...but a great sense of humor mixed with a lil sarcasm...have mercy...watch out cuz I might just fall in luv with ya! Lol I'm a very strong willed woman...if I hadn't been i would have never made it through 14 years of being a single parent and dealing with a dead beat...baby daddy! I speak my mind but I will do it with a smile...I've been told I'm pretty and that I'm sexy...I like that but I'm also smart! The blonde comes from a box darlin...it's not natural! I love all kinds of music, except the hard core stuff...love to dance and yes I will admit I sing in the shower and dance in front of the mirror! I've been divorced for several years (over a decade) and my life is in a pretty good place. I don't really have any baggage to speak of unless, you count my cat and my dog lol. If you don't like animals, you probably won't like me. I am Christian by faith that means a lot to me. I think I'm looking for the same thing everyone else on here, is looking for. Isn't that what life is all about? I volunteer for a couple of different charity organizations and i'm on the board of my HOA so my life can be full of meetings at times. My kids are all independent and living their dreams. Now i'd like to live one of mine and find that special someone. I know you're out there! Laughter is my favorite emotion (isn't everyone's?) and it's a part of my daily routine. I'm pretty sick of dating, and would like to find that one man to hold my hand through the rest of this crazy life. My ideal man would drive a pickup truck, listen to classic rock and some oldies, enjoy tinkering around the house, hanging out by the water, bbq-ing with friends, enjoy a margarita or a beer from time to time and weekend getaways. He doesn't have to be rich, but he should like what he does. He doesn't smoke and he can hang with me at church on Sunday morning or hold my hand in prayer. As for me? I have more good days than bad, enjoy all the things I just mentioned, and believe that you need to meet someone in person to see if you're compatible. Profiles only give you a glimpse of who someone is. My friends are an important part of my life and sometimes I like to spend the day with the girls. I expect whoever i'm with to be able to entertain himself and, have a hobby that doesn't include me. I think that's how you keep things interesting. I'm not a cheater, a liar or angry at anyone. I don't live in the past, and I understand that life is precious. If you have a profile picture with your shirt off flexing your muscles, we're probably not a match. If you do drugs or drink every day, we're definately not a match. If you're looking for someone to "just date", we're not a match. If you choose your women like you do your toys, keep going. I'm a real woman not a toy. I enjoy being in a relationship and i'm not afraid to love. I hope i'm never so cynical that I think it doesn't exist. Ok, if you're still reading then I think, in spirit of full disclosure, you should know that I have thyroid disease. It's not fatal, it doesn't prevent me from doing anything I want to do, I just take a pill every day like people with high blood pressure do. What it does do, is slow my metabolism, so I have to always stay active. I carry an extra 30lbs more than I used to and i've had to embrace that. Men seem fixated on size, so I can tell you that i'm a ***and that probably won't change. I love hiking and camping and eat a healthy diet (low carb, little gluten). It's how I stay healthy and I am healthy. If you'd like to see if we're a match, please *** first date should be like meeting a new friend. Let's go some place, have an intelligent conversation and see if we like each other. I've found that it takes time to know a person, so i'm not in a rush and I hope you aren't either.
