Welcome! I am a single parent of a 16 year old boy (well, I guess he's a young man, now!). I'm a very caring, empathetic woman with a great sense of humor. I love intelligent conversation and a quick wit! I'm much more spiritual than I am religious.I'm tired of walking this path alone and I'm ready to find my partner! I'm learning about gardening and really love being outside in my yard.I usually have 2 or 3 books going at once. I never thought that I would like an e-reader, but I am loving my Kindle!I absolutely LOVED Avatar and wish it was showing on the big screen again! I just saw Friends with Benefits and I loved it! (no, not looking for a F w/ B, haha!)I listen to a wide variety of music ~ especially classic rock.     I'd love to find someone to get out and go do things with me. Lately, I've been exploring the artistic side I never get to express. I work in software and I'm paid to be technical so, although that takes creativity, I need a creative outlet. I'm independent, have a decent job, lead a low-stress life and I enjoy spending time with friends, outside is best. I've been divorced for some time now and I'm perfectly comfortable being on my own but it would be nice to have that one special friend. I've done a little traveling in the US only and I really want to start traveling internationally. I find at this age many of my friends are married with kids so they have little time/freedom to get out and have a drink much less take a trip. I don't mind if you have children but having free time is important to me.     OK here goes! I am intelligent, funny, kind, caring and a lot more adjectives that don't need to be listed. LOL! I am looking for that special someone that treats me like they would treat their mother, with respect and honesty. I love the outdoor and doing things with my hands.
