Hello, If it were my perfect world you and I would be sitting outside on the porch swing listening to the rain come down on the tin roof. This would of course be in the middle of my ***acres and my yellow lab would be sitting by my side. I’ve been here a little longer than you, because after a great home cooked dinner that I made just for you, you stayed inside and did the dishes and ironed my clothes for work the next day. Hey, it’s my perfect world. LOL. Unfortunately, it’s not a perfect world. I don’t live on ***acres and I don’t even have a dog. But I am a good cook and I have a very good imagination! I love to laugh till its hurts. I love the smell of babies, puppies, horses and fresh cut hay. I have a lot of interest but love outside activities most. I’m very active and I love to ride my horse, especially if trail riding in the mountains. I like to hike in the woods, walk in the park or just sit and relax on the "make believe" porch swing :) . I am an avid reader and have been known to check out as many as 18 books from the library at one time. I’m creative and artistic. I would love to take stained glass classes. My favorite beverage is sweet iced tea. I am just as comfortable in heels and a dress at a fine dining restaurant as I am in jeans and boots shucking the barn or riding on the back of your bike. I listen mostly to Country music but can listen to anything except rap and hard rock. But the thing I enjoy most is spending time with my family, especially my 2 grandchildren, ages 2 and 5 months. They are my rock. I am an honest, loving, caring woman who doesn't play games. I not dead set on finding my "one". I don't need anyone to complete me.....but it would be nice to have someoen to share my life with. If you can make me laugh, all the better. I would love to find someone who makes me laugh, and that I can't wait until the next time I see him. But that doesn't have to be the next day or even the day after that. I think there can be an *** but not *** I am not naive enough to think that we all don't have baggage or drama in our lives......and neither should you. My only "rule" to that is to keep it out of our relationship. In other words......don't blame me for the shortcomings of your ex.....I am not them....I am my own woman. So now for the things I don’t like: I hate to fold clothes and I hate my alarm clock in the mornings. I’m terrified of birds. Yes all birds, but the good news is that’s the most neurotic thing about me. I refuse to talk politics, and don't like picky eaters or mean people. I’m not a jealous person, and I could never be with anyone who is. If there isn’t trust there’s nothing. This is where I’ll be perfectly honest: I am not interested in dating outside my race; it’s just not in my comfort zone. If you don’t close your mouth when you chew food you just aren’t for me. If you are vegitarian or vegan it won't work because I love a big juicy steak. If you don't have your own car don't expect me to pick you up. Yes its happened :( . If you don't have a picture I will assume you are married or have something to hide so please don't contact me. After we have messaged a few times on this site, I think we should talk on the phone. You can tell so much more about a person if you actually talk. Then we meet for lunch or drinks. Something short in case we don't click. Also, if you promise to tell me that you just aren't in to me I will do the same.

Some would say that the "down hill" side of life begins at 50, well maybe for some but not for me! My kids are grown and have great jobs so I'm excited about finally starting the best years of my life and being able to focus on my future and living life to the fullest. I am about to become a grandmother for the first time so thats pretty exciting! I love sports, both my Longhorns and for the next 4 years Sooner football...I have two nephews that play for them. I love music and I rarely watch TV. I enjoy movies, the theater and entertaining. I enjoy dancing, but that's not a deal breaker. It would be much more fun to do it with someone special. I love history so historical cities as well as the mountains and the beach are on the list. I love spending time in my cabin in the heart of the Rockies. Horseback riding, jeep rides and fishing are things I like to do. I'm at a great place in life right now, the only thing missing is someone special to enjoy it with. I'm a Christian but believe in letting my words and deeds show you my faith. I am happy, drama free and finally ready to jump into the world and see what is waiting for me. To me it's what's on the inside of a person that counts. Chemistry is important but looks that have a shallow heart have far less chemistry when it comes to meaningful relationships. I'm looking for a gentleman who wants to begin with friendship and see what grows from there. You like sports, music, believe in family and hopefully have one you are willing to share as I am. You have a sense of humor and enjoy the kind of laughing that brings a tear to your eyes. Laughter is good for the soul. Smiles are very attractive to me. If you aren't smiling in any of your pictures I ask "Why so serious?" I'm willing to try things I've never done before. But...if your passion is deep sea fishing and you're looking for a shipmate...it's not me. Even loaded with Dramamine I get sea sick, I've tried! Boats on lakes and cruise ships aren't a problem but deep sea waters on a tiny boat are no bueno! P.S.
