I'll preface my profile by stating despite the look in some pics, I am NOT high maintenance. In younger years, I've done a bit of modeling. (mostly eyes) That said:There is a big chunk of my life left waiting to be played out with you. I'm young at heart with lots to offer. The question is "Does a combo package of attractiveness and INTELLIGENCE appeal to you?" I am an interesting mix of fun, brains, and just enough glitz to make things exciting. I am willing to try new things, but you'll never convince me that bowling (I once bowled a 3) or the opera (I fell asleep) are enjoyable. I could also use some serious coaching in tennis and baseball. "Camping" you say? Tried it once, but my idea of "camping out" is more like sitting in my car in a parking lot (coffee in hand) waiting for the mall to open. Although I have a science background, most people place me in the arts.( It's the fashion factor.) Family and friends are a vital part of my life, but I am also very comfortable spending the day with just myself. I am confident enough to give you your space and not be all-consuming or needy. I am curvaceous and some say I have the body of a 25 year old. (The mind is another issue.) I have sex appeal, (not to be confused with promiscuity.) The biggest thing on me is my heart. It's been broken and mended a few times and there's room in it for you. I love to play dress-up for my man. (I don't go anywhere without my high heels!) I can also be as casual as the rest of them.On weekends, it's no makeup and overalls.You might find me doing house repairs, at the gym or at bootcamp (tough, but no crying aloud), gardening, bargain shopping, listening to music (oldies freak) or cooking. Italian meals are my specialty. I am of Italian heritage. Dad was a chef and I learned from the best! I also spend time working with special needs (mainly autistic) children.My perfect mate is attractive,well groomed and physically fit.Teeth and hair (adorning the head) are a plus. He is confident, but never arrogant or pompous. He is comfortable going out on the town or just spending a day at home watching a movie classic or suffering through an occasional chic flick. Mr. Right is honest, considerate, generous (I don't mesh with cheap), and of high moral character. The relationship will be a give and take and should evolve naturally. I've learned from past experience that when you have to work too hard at any relationship, it's not worth having. I do not want to become a professional dater and have meetville become a way of life, but rather a means to a happy beginning. It is so incredibly easy to become jaded on a dating site; So many broken promises and people who lack sincerity. I'm still optimistic that you are out there and that odds are now favorable to meet a man who embraces the total me - outside and inside package. It would be soooo refreshing to meet just a nice, genuine guy. A final note - If we connect and communicate, call me old fashioned, but I prefer the phone. There is nothing worse than enduring a long dinner or event when you know your only mindset is to excuse yourself, run to the nearest bathroom, and jump out the window to escape Aunt Bea or Gramps.

    Some would say that the "down hill" side of life begins at 50, well maybe for some but not for me! My kids are grown and have great jobs so I'm excited about finally starting the best years of my life and being able to focus on my future and living life to the fullest. If you aren't smiling in any of your pictures I ask "Why so serious?" I'm willing to try things I've never done before. But...if your passion is deep sea fishing and you're looking for a shipmate...it's not me. Even loaded with Dramamine I get sea sick, I've tried! Boats on lakes and cruise ships aren't a problem but deep sea waters on a tiny boat are no bueno! P.S. Family should be important because through time we'd extend our time to include our families with each other.Because I do enjoy making friends, I am not opposed to hanging out and I am always open to making new friends. However, ideally what's been missing in my life is my one true love and soul-mate. Call me a hopeless romantic but I do believe that true love exists and there's a difference between good friends and that soul mate. Is that called passion? I'm pretty flexible but it would be a place where we could spend quiet time getting to talk with each other but an activity to break the ice.....walking at a park, picnic, etc is always nice.
