Ugh!! This is the worst part, but here goes! I am compassionate, witty, and passionate......I still believe that chivalry is NOT dead! I am a real "girly-girl", but also love my sneakers and comfy flannel PJ's! You can dress me up and take me out to the classiest places, but don't be surprised when you realize I love to joke around and be goofy and playful, too (NOT in the classy restaurant, of course!! ) I am divorced with an 8 year old son and value family highly.....I am blessed to still have my parents around. Since I do have a young child, I would expect and will appreciate anyone I meet to be understanding when it comes to the challenges single moms sometimes have when dating. I teach special education through private agencies and love what I do.......I pride myself on my ability to be sensitive and establish good relationships with the parents I work with who have special needs children. I love infants and the elderly....they're both so precious in their own ways!! Of course, communication and trust are important, but even at this age, I think chemistry is also a must! A relationship without appreciation and passion just doesn't feel right. I am a good listener, a loyal friend, and love to make people laugh! I have a quick wit and usually laugh when I'm nervous! Making people laugh has always served as my "safety valve" since I am actually quite shy. Truthfully, I am looking for a solid relationship, as well as a man of exceptional values who will nurture my son as well as our relationship. I'll preface my profile by stating despite the look in some pics, I am NOT high maintenance. In younger years, I've done a bit of modeling. (mostly eyes) That said:There is a big chunk of my life left waiting to be played out with you. I'm young at heart with lots to offer. The question is "Does a combo package of attractiveness and INTELLIGENCE appeal to you?" I am an interesting mix of fun, brains, and just enough glitz to make things exciting. I am willing to try new things, but you'll never convince me that bowling (I once bowled a 3) or the opera (I fell asleep) are enjoyable. Tried it once, but my idea of "camping out" is more like sitting in my car in a parking lot (coffee in hand) waiting for the mall to open. Family and friends are a vital part of my life, but I am also very comfortable spending the day with just myself. I am confident enough to give you your space and not be all-consuming or needy. I am curvaceous and some say I have the body of a 25 year old. (The mind is another issue.) I have sex appeal, (not to be confused with promiscuity.) The biggest thing on me is my heart. It's been broken and mended a few times and there's room in it for you. I love to play dress-up for my man. (I don't go anywhere without my high heels!) I can also be as casual as the rest of them.On weekends, it's no makeup and overalls.You might find me doing house repairs, at the gym or at bootcamp (tough, but no crying aloud), gardening, bargain shopping, listening to music (oldies freak) or cooking.
