Well, its been about 17 yrs since I have been in the " dating" scene....alot has changed..mostly interesting mostly all the new technology available. My kids are still teens and are active in sports and that is my favorite hobby right now. Like Wine Tastings,comdey shows, listening to live bands, festivals etc. I like to try new things but have a love for antiques and wine tasting. I have 2 doxies and 2 chihuahuas. I am an old soul with a young spirit. The first thing you need to know about me is my major interest in all things equine. Presently, I have 3 horses and 1 dog. I am an endurance rider, but love any horse sport that is fun, ie; team penning, jumping, trail trials, packing, reining, etc... I have been involved in farming and ranching for over 30 years. It is a lifestyle I prefer. I am interested in lots of outdoor sports and recreation, though, prefering non-motorized fun. I like quiet mnt. trails. Canoeing, and maybe a little fishing. Sometimes it's nice to stay home and work on my place. Sometimes, I just sit outside and breath in the fresh country air. Have not had tv in over 4 years, and don't miss it ... much. What makes me unique ? Boy, is that a loaded question. I have been told I am a cross between Annie Oakly and Calamity Jane. I think that is somewhat true. I am strong willed and usually know what I want in life, and/or out of life. I'd like to find someone who will listen to me when I am upset, as well as tell me when they are having problems of their own, and not pretend everything is ok. I'm done with pretending. I love to laugh and enjoy a good joke, even if it's on me. I can usually find something positive, even in a bad situation. I don't do one nite stands, never have, never will. I like country music, older rock n roll, celtic, bluegrass. I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs. I have experienced life living with alcoholism and drug addiction, and am not at all interested in travelling down that very bumpy road, again. If you like to over indulge, then I am not the person for you. I may have a glass of wine or champagne at special events and dinners. My drugs of choice are horses and chocolate. Hey, they are both legal. : ) Hmm..... whatever we decide. A trail ride might be fun ?
