I’ve been a widow now for a little over 4 years. Quite simply I no longer want to be alone. I’m ready to share the companionship and intimacy of a quality relationship. I want to live the love songs once again.I enjoy simple things...believing that true pleasure is found in who you share with rather than what you do. I like to laugh, and I especially enjoy making you laugh. I enjoy sharing a warming fire, watching it’s mesmerizing dance; evenings watching the stars sparkle; the roll of thunder and the amazing power of lightning in the distance. I love the smell of freshly cut grass and Stargazer Lilies.I love road trips…the highway is in my blood! I like to do almost anything that involves water...boating, swimming, hot tubs, and kayaking (only done this once and thoroughly enjoyed it). I would much rather swim than sweat!I enjoy cooking for someone that loves food. I enjoy watching musicians perform their craft. I DON’T play games!!! I would ask the same in return. Being emotionally available is essential. Any enduring relationship begins with at least a few common interests, chemistry, and friendship. These are the avenues we investigate through dating, communicating, and spending time together. If a long term relationship develops its a wonderful thing. If not, at least we have found a friend worth having in our lives.Becoming a widow has taught me to never take anything...and especially anyone...for granted. Every day, every smile, every glance is a gift to be appreciated and treasured.I believe in sweet secrets and sweeter surprises.Chemistry is essential. If the kiss doesn’t fit, neither will anything else! Again...I believe in passion, tenderness and communication. I love romance and candlelight and the simple yet profound message conveyed by a caress. I have NO taste for champagne. I cannot live without my quad latte. Chocolate is a necessity of life.I like my wine cold. I don’t do beer.I hate cleaning bathrooms!!!..and I love sleeping through it. I enjoy camping out in the pines (preferably near water). I especially love the sound of the breeze as it passes through the branches, the scent of the forest and the peacefulness it brings to my spirit. Few things delight the senses like the smell of a campfire. Please note: I DON’T DO TENTS!!I would rather share conversation over dinner, coffee or a glass of wine *** a movie, and prefer watching that movie all tangled up together on the couch.My friends tell me I am a “special” woman. I sometimes wonder just exactly what THAT is supposed to mean?!! I think I have a pretty good sense of humor; sometimes clever. Usually intelligent and believe myself to be articulate enough to carry my end of the conversation.I appreciate the hand holding and stolen kisses of a living romance…the tender touches and meaningful glances of shared affection. I am a woman with a tender heart, true intent, integrity, character, passion and fire. I am a woman of worth. I AM Gemini.I am looking for a man of balance, integrity and strong character. Laughing makes me HAPPY.My daily affirmations include being a better person today than yesterday, making one person SMILE, and always giving 110% of my HEART to whatever I put my mind to accomplish....... really speak to me. The intersection of light, land, water, and sky returns me to a natural state of ease and calm, allowing me to gain a greater perspective. But just seeing a space like this isn't enough. Living in it, and working in it is what feeds my soul and makes me feel alive! A perfect date would include wearing a classy dress and heels, dinner at a nice fancy restaurant, a play or movie, and walking barefoot along a moonlit beach.
