Recently moved to CA from VA. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and making more friends.’s, Home Depot, a concert, a local "hot spot," or just hanging out with friends when I’m not working. In the summer, the beach and playing in the water is a must. Okay not so much here...yet...the water is COLD! I've been known to drive a sports car or a SUV, on occasion too fast, while weaving through traffic. I'm finding that I tend to fit in on the 5. People that drive like I do think of ourselves as great drivers, people that don’t think otherwise. I love to travel and haven't done enough of it. I cannot stress this enough, so if you aren't interested in traveling (afraid of flying?) we won’t be a good match. I like confidence and intelligence so I guess the best way to explain it would be a multifaceted successful man that can effectively balance work and play. He will be able to discuss the world around us and respect and enjoy hearing my interests and opinions on things. He is true to his word and follows through on what he says. He is open to communication and respects women. He doesn't just say that he respects women; he will actually exhibit mannerisms that show he truly does respect women. A great night for him would be to go out for dinner and enjoy a local band one night and the next stay home, put something on the grill, share a bottle of wine and watch a movie. To sum it up, I’m hoping to meet a man who has the desire and ability to enjoy and share all that life has to offer.One disclaimer, my body type was noted as athletic because there is no option for curvy and curvy definitely isn't average. I go to the gym, but my body remains curvy. Something simple such as meeting for coffee or a drink...maybe dinner.

I do not like the outdoors, biking, hiking, camping, fishing, adventures and such. Is there a man out there who does not list these things in their profile? My friends and family describe me as compassionate, tough, witty, articulate, dichotomous, generous, stubborn, energetic, straight forward, relentless, giving, honest, loyal, kind, creative, sensitive, restless and realistic. So I guess sexy, romantic and sweet would sound better. I do have those characteristics as well but they do not show up that often but they are definitely there too. I work hard and am finally to a point in life where my wonderful daughter is old enough ***that I can take some time and try to learn how to play hard as well. I have been raising my daughter and have not dated in a very long time so I don’t take this lightly and am not looking for casual dating or to settle for less than what I need and want. I am grateful everyday for the blessing in my life of my daughter and the honor of being able to raise her. She is my proudest accomplishment in life and makes me smile everyday. Being physically fit, attractive and clean cut is imperative to me and less is not negotiable. If you read this far, I am impressed. I am not like the others and could have written this in a traditional way, designed to lure men in but that would not be in keeping with who I am.
