I'm a fashion design student in my final year of school. I'm focused on accomplishing my goals but would love to make time for a relationship. My interests are fashion(of course), art in all it's forms, movies, books, cooking, and generally having a good time. In my limited spare time I like to listen to a ton of awesome music(if I'm a snob about one thing, it's my musical tastes: I'll give any music a try but I love rock, alternative, blues, R&), and keep in touch with my family. I'm a born and raised country girl so despite loving having my nails painted and my clothes presentable, I can definitely enjoy some outdoor time. I like a good hike, day on the lake, or game of backyard badminton any time. I grew up in a small town where you basically make your own fun so if you're familiar with that, it's a huge plus. What I'm really looking for here is to connect with someone open minded, fun, down to earth, and intellectual. You don't have to be an astro-physicist, but stimulating conversation is a must. I can get my geek on and I definitely need someone who isn't afraid to do the same.I'm an unashamed child at heart. I like to keep things low key. A great first date is one spent conversing over drinks or coffee. Good conversation is an art and it's a great way to truly connect.     So...here you are , in my dreams. It's all shiny and stuff and I'm probably flying on a giant unicorn. Now it's time to get out of my dreams and into my buggy...my dune-buggy that is. I don't actually have one, but as you can see, I have an active imagination. Some days, I am a pirate, others I am a mermaid...but usually I am just a graduate student studying speech therapy. For about three years now, I've been learning Egyptian-style "belly dance"...cultural experiences and colorful costumes are a big deal to me! I'd love to learn new kinds of dance if given the chance. I love cooking and trying a variety of foods...I am very peaceful with a new recipe in the kitchen as it is calming for me. Picnics in the park and horse-back riding would be ideal dates for a girl like me as well. Speaking of horses, I am an animal lover, with large-breed dogs being my favorite kind. Ultimately, I am just a laid-back and goofy girl looking for someone who will like me for who I am, who I can take care of, and most importantly laugh with! I am perfectly happy with staying in and watching a movie or laughing at videos and memes online. But, I am always up for a new adventure, especially when it is in the company of someone special :) What are some of my personality traits you should know about? I am quite loyal, family-centered, affectionate, giving, silly, and true to myself. To some people, I seem shy at first--but I open up when comfortable and love the chance to show people who I really am. My ideal first date could involve so many things! Meeting for a drink isn't the most original idea in the book, but it works for me! I am up for a casual, get-to-know-you chat over dinner or coffee or something more adventurous like an outdoor activitity or horse-back riding. We could meet at a park and walk my dog (and yours, if you have one!) A winery tour, a concert, or a cooking date would please me just as well...another more cliche date might involve creating our own picnic! Another idea...I absolutely adore the zoo! Or even the science center!
