I graduated three years ago with a degree in English Lit and a minor in Psychology, so I suppose I have the propensity to be slightly over-analytical from time to time. But I can also be very impulsive. I had originally been planning to move here with a friend some time next year. However, she got a job offer and I got us a moving van.I tend to get labelled as the "funny one", most likely because (in the appropriate setting), I don't have much of a filter. However, in formal circumstances, rest assured that I am quite the lady.I try to find balance in my life, and I look for that in a partner as well. Funny, but still able to be serious when the situation calls for it. Someone who is fine with attending a party one night, and then staying home and watching TV, or going for a nice, relaxed walk the next night.I tend to be quite opinionated, and would love to find someone that shares that quality. Being able to articulately express your views is a big plus. It is an even bigger plus if you DON'T agree with me on a certain point and can offer valid reasons as to why. I suppose what I am saying is I'm looking for someone that can carry on a meaningful conversation. I like to learn new things, and would like to meet a man who feels the same.I love going to concerts, but I'm also more than content to listen to vinyls at home. And I know that sounds obnoxiously hip, but don't worry, I also have a buttload of music on my iPhone. My Grandma gave me her old record player when I moved, and all of my vinyls have either come from my mom's old collection or from the estate sales that my roommate and I frequent.I'm also pretty passionate about food. I love trying new things. I like cooking, too, though I won't claim to be Julie Child or anything. I would love to find someone that is willing to try new cuisine with me.I suppose in conclusion, I'm looking for a well-rounded individual who is open to trying new things. Of course, it would be a very big plus if said individual was well-rounded, into trying new things, and a fan of my dog. I like drinking out of things that are larger than standard size. Let's go to a biergarten and see who can finish a liter first. But just so you know, I've been training.

I grew up more of a tomboy than a girly-girl and I speak fluent sarcasm. I love aviation and travel...any reason to explore the world is a good one and I would love nothing more than to wander it constantly. I love to learn about anything and everything, especially about cultures, customs and languages from all ends of the map. I love to cook...I can grill, bake, roast, fry, saute just about anything and often prefer to dine in over dining out. I love trying new foods and especially foreign foods. I have even had learned how to make traditional dishes of different cultures from people I have met on my travels. I'm old school, traditional with a touch of modern. I believe in manners and common sense, something I have found to be more rare than I can put to words. Don't lie to me and I won't lie to you; if you have something to say, then say it. My family and friends mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. I live, laugh and love with all I have. I am a genuinely positive person and I choose to see the best in people, for better or for worse. I don't want to play games and I am not here for sex.I work full time downtown and although it can be stressful, I do like my job (most days). I enjoy spending time volunteering; you can often find me at the AIDS Resource Center events doing just about anything and everything they need me to help with. Let's be silly and enjoy a few games of bowling or let's race go karts and play laser tag. I am up for just about anything.

Just graduated from the Social Service Worker program at Loyalist College, and have already graduated from the Community and Justice Services Worker program. Not looking to stay here forever, but for now :)Someday I can see myself being one of those people that go south for the winter, or at least multiple vacations.. I hate the cold! My friends are #1 and my nieces and nephew are a huge part of my life, Aunt Kenz loves spending time with them.In the summer I like camping and being outside. I love spending a couple hours being lazy and laying out in the sun, but also enjoy walks in the woods, its calming! I do enjoy going out for drinks, or to the bar with my friends, but a campfire is great too!I enjoy being in the kitchen. The worst part about it is the clean-up!
