About Me

To describe myself, in short... I'm high energy, easy going, friendly, maybe slightly competitive, ambitious, and adventurous, with a strong dislike for anything high maintenance.. If none if that is of interest to you, then let me save you some time - you're probably not going to like me very much. I moved very very recently out to BC as the result of my need for change and adventure. It's a bit of a detour from the career path I was on, but I was in need of a change of scenery. The people that know me aren't really surprised by this at all, too. I like to keep things random. I like to be kept on my toes.One of the the things I'm absolutely addicted to, for similar reasons, is traveling. I'm always planning for or working towards the next big trip. I love being able to see and try new things.That said, I can't be traveling the world all the time. When I home, I keep pretty active. I run, do hot yoga, crossfit, play "non contact" flag football and go to the gym. Two things I'd really like to have a go at are rock climbing, and wakeboarding or water skiing.Since I'm new to the area, I'm really looking to meet some new people. To be honest, I'm not intent on starting a relationship, but I suppose I'm open to it if it happens. I like to keep things light and easy. Point is, I'm more on meetville because I don't know anyone here. I'm very much the outgoing sort (super social and people oriented), so I figured I'd give this a go!     I'm not very good at writing profiles but I'll give it a go! I'm a pretty laid-back, easy going girl who's not too sure what she's looking for in life but knows where she wants to go. My dream job is to once become an event coordinator or manager for an International development organization. I enjoy having tv show marathons, spending time with my family and friends, playing board games and learning new things. I have recently become quite interested in wine and am trying to learn as much as I can about wine-making, production and tasting (it's a rather complicated subject!). I love doing things outdoors whether it be hiking, camping, canoeing or simply just star-gazing. My ideal summer weekend is spent somewhere where I can disconnect myself from the world of technology, relax and spend time with my closest friends and family. My favourite season is fall, mostly because I love Halloween and everything scary. Also, I love that you can go into any coffee shop and get a pumpkin spice latte during the autumn months. The leaves changing are really pretty too. I am a dog lover and can't wait to have my own! Well that is all I have for now... Gotta leave some room for you to ask questions!
