About Me

I graduated from USC in ***with a Bachelor's degree in Music Industry. Music plays a huge role in my life (as do friends and family), not only aesthetically, but I also play the piano and guitar. I am a Merchandise Manager and Fan Coordinator for a pop/piano rock artist. We're about to head back out on the road for 8 weeks. I would love to work my way up to being a Tour Manager one day. I have two tattoos. One of them is actually Japanese Kanji on the back of my neck that means music. I think body art can be beautiful and extremely meaningful; I am open to getting more tattoos in the future, but I would never get a tattoo for the sake of getting a tattoo. The concept/design would have to mean the world to me and be representative of who I am (or was at some point in my life). I love sports. I played softball and basketball growing up as a kid and throughout high school. I wish I could snowboard year round, because it is a big seasonal hobby of mine. I'm not a pro by any means, but it's fun. I'm a kid at heart and tend to be up for any adventure. Ziplining in Cancun has been one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done. I just went skydiving for the first time this year. It has officially taken the cake for the coolest experience ever. I would go again in a heartbeat. Motorcycles fascinate me and I secretly want to learn how to ride. I'll find any excuse to be able to travel and road trip to places I've never been before.Almost 5 years ago I cut my hair off because I wanted to donate it to a non-profit organization for children suffering from long-term medical diagnoses. I kept it short for much of that time (it is long now!), because it brought out more personality than my long hair ever did/does. But I would donate it again in a heartbeat. So if you have a problem with girls who aren't attached to their hair, or if you just don't like my "tomboyish" appearance please don't waste your (or my) time by sending me hurtful messages illustrating your judgement of me when you don't even know me. That aside, I hope the rest of you aren't intimidated. :)I'm a pretty complex individual. I'm incredibly shy/reserved until I get to know someone. Once I've formed a bond, I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and I would do anything to make someone I cared for happy. I have a pretty sarcastic, yet playful, nature. However I'm not a sugar-coater, so you'll always know what I'm thinking or where you stand with me because I have no problem telling you how I feel (even if it comes off abrasive.)As for my "ideal match," I don't really know exactly what/who I am looking for. I'm probably too damn independent for my own good. But I do know I'm attracted to guys with the following characteristics: Someone who is ambitious. Passionate. Has a sense of humor. Is Intelligent! I can not stress enough how much of a deal breaker illiteracy is. I want to find my best friend; that person that I can tell anything to, and be 100% comfortable around.I love to laugh. I love to challenge. I love to be needed. Alternatively, even though a lunch or coffee date is a more convenient option (especially if we find out we don't have chemistry, so we aren't locked in to a whole morning/afternoon together), the pressure can be overwhelming because it doesn't provide the right balance of conversation and pleasant distraction.

    To describe myself, in short... I'm high energy, easy going, friendly, maybe slightly competitive, ambitious, and adventurous, with a strong dislike for anything high maintenance.. If none if that is of interest to you, then let me save you some time - you're probably not going to like me very much. I moved very very recently out to BC as the result of my need for change and adventure. It's a bit of a detour from the career path I was on, but I was in need of a change of scenery. The people that know me aren't really surprised by this at all, too. I like to keep things random. I like to be kept on my toes.One of the the things I'm absolutely addicted to, for similar reasons, is traveling. I'm always planning for or working towards the next big trip. I love being able to see and try new things.That said, I can't be traveling the world all the time. When I home, I keep pretty active. I run, do hot yoga, crossfit, play "non contact" flag football and go to the gym. Two things I'd really like to have a go at are rock climbing, and wakeboarding or water skiing.Since I'm new to the area, I'm really looking to meet some new people.
