I am new to the area, just moved for work. I am a writer and while my goal is to become a successful novelist, at the moment I'm working for a publisher to help with editing and whatnot. I enjoy it and also gives me a flexible schedule when not coming up on deadlines. I've thought about taking up teaching, but I'd probably like to go into collegiate level education if I go down that path.I like to read, should be obvious, but also into games, both video and board games, and traveling. I've been fortunate to get to travel to a lot of places so far, but there are even more on my list both domestic and abroad to still see. I've been to 20 different countries at this point and I like to hear about the interesting and exotic places other people have been and would suggest going to. I think I'd just like to get to know someone by talking at a coffee shop at first and hang out a little bit. I do like random adventures, so hikes and trips to events or festivals is always fun; even gone to a beer making class one afternoon just to see what it was about, as well as a wine tasting and painting class for something different to try. Trying out new places to eat or bars to check out is a good way to explore new places and get to know someone new.

If I had to describe myself in a few words they would be energetic, spontaneous, creative, adaptive, and understanding. Some might say that I am a jack of all trades. I dance, I sing, I dabble with piano and I play trumpet. I love learning how to do new things. I enjoy being outdoors and camping. I also enjoy painting, but I'm not too great at it. I really like guys with dark hair...love latino/italian looking guys. ;) I'm willing to give just about anyone a chance though, unless you're older than 35, then you're age is closer to my parents' than to me, and that's just a little weird for me. I'm at the point in my life where I really want to find someone that I can be long term with. I would prefer someone who is more mature, but not necessarily older than me. I have my life together, and want the same with my partner. I prefer meeting people face to face pretty early.
