I speak Japanese semi-fluently, so I love talking about the newest stuff, even if it's not out in America yet. I like science fiction and fantasy, and regularly read books and watch movies and TV regarding them. I read comics, mostly on the web, but if you have a favorite super hero, let me know and we'll decide whose is better.Although I hate the term, many people would probably consider me a hipster, too. I'm a huge beer connoisseur and could talk about my favorite drafts for hours. My taste in music is pretty discerning too. Don't get me wrong, I'll listen to anything that's catchy, but there's a lot of good music out there that's hard to find, so if you're into the indie scene we'll have a lot to talk about.I'm a pretty shy guy, but I guess what I'm looking for is someone to be relaxed around. Even in a relationship, I've always been more into the idea of being good friends with someone first. Don't get me wrong, I'm just like everyone else: I want love and acceptance and great sex, but at the end of the day I really just want someone who can make me laugh or be there with a smile and wouldn't mind playing a video game with me on a Friday night. A partner, I guess. I'm not a club guy, and I hate loud bars, but I'd love to go out and get a few beers and some greasy pub food with a guy. Maybe watch the game, or just talk. Afterwards, we'd walk around town, maybe stop in some shops if it's Gallery Hop. We could maybe catch a movie if it's not too late. It's kinda dumb, but I guess the perfect end to a date night would be going back to my/his place, and staying up all night playing games or watching movies. Waking up on the couch after a fun night like that is a good feeling.
