Hi there Wandering Wonderer,I'm an independent thinking, multifaceted and well rounded guy. I like to stretch and enjoy the finer points of experience. I find life of mind to be just as important as the life of the body. I'm passionate about art, music, science, history, culture and philosophy. I'm a scatter brained scholar. I find intellect and cerebral sexy. Though I must admit, I am completely smitten with the absurd. I like progressive, electronic, world, jazz and classical music. Yeah, I've got some geek sheek ; ) I can play a bit of all genres on bass guitar. Playing in bands is one of my hobbies. I'm looking for a salsa and tango partner; someone to dance into the night with. I find the mass media and the majority of pop culture to be ridiculous and completely insane. I do enjoy good movies and documentaries though. I exercise fairly often and enjoy participating in running events. Hiking is a must. I've been trained in cooking and nutrition, so my cooking is both magically delicious and nutritious; better than any lucky charms! I do like the occassional naughty foods though.I've travelled across the US and done a bit of globe hopping. Travelling is one of my many loves and I wish I had more time and resources for it. It would be nice to have a travel partner! I'm not originally from the NW and I have a very subtle accent. If we meet, lets see if you can guess where I'm from. I'm not a bar fly and generally only like bars when there's a good band playing. I'm probably one of the few people you will meet who just does not give a damn about American sports! I can enjoy some international football and the Olympics though.What I'm looking for is fun, love, friendship, appreciation and so much more! A dynamic physical & mental attraction is desirable but only a piece of the puzzle; and not the most important one at that. Authenticity is crucial. I seek a healthy relationship with someone I can connect and grow with, but until then I place great value on friendship and strive to bring value to the relationships that I make. Nothing like some hearty laughing to get the oxytocin flowing! Great food and conversation is a good starting point, so a nice restaurant or cafe that isn't too expensive is a good start. If we groove with each other, perhaps a good movie, play, musical performance, lecture, art gallery, museum... or whatever seems clever would be nice as a follow up. Walking in the park, feeding the ducks...maybe even holding hands...vino by the fire...but that's probably moving too fast! lol But hey, who knows if it was written in the stars for us to be more than just meetville friends ;)
