I joined meetville several years ago and never really participated, but I never deleted the account, so I guess by now I could take the time to list some details about me. I don't know that I am looking for a relationship, per se...more of a demonstration of my willingness to participate in this process.I have a love/hate relationship with the internet. I almost feel like social networking was easier at the beginning. There seemed to be that feeling of being able to easily connect with people who were open to making new connections, while maintaining a certain anonymity until you felt ready to share more personally. Then I think people ran with the anonymity part of the deal, found it was a good way to be a d-bag to others, and the receptiveness of people to form relationships with strangers in the internet realm sort of died out. And now *** being able to talk, you just have to send some positive vibes someone's way, and hope your message is worded interestingly enough to grab that person's attention - without being lumped in with the other banal chatter that is now so pervasive in social media.Aside from my love of tirades, rants, and diatribes...I am trying to keep things pretty laid back and low key as of late.
