There are so many possibilities in life ... even the possibility of meeting someone special at a dating site like this. Just imagine!I am still missing someone special in my life that makes it all better than good, that makes it magical, but I am optimistic that we can make that happen for both of us.I love nature. I respond to its beauty deep in my soul. I love to go for walks ... in the forest, I love to smell the pine trees and breathe in the cool air ... on the beach, wet sand in my toes, tide coming in and out over my feet ... and I love to walk in the city too and watch the people, discover new places, find some new restaurant to try, there is nature in the city too, some beautiful trees or a park, especially some older beautiful neighborhoods. I love the arts, especially music, Would you enjoy an evening at the theater, ballet, opera, symphony, a jazz club, a rock concert? At home I listen to a lot of peaceful, uplifting music. I hope that we have some tastes in common and could share things like this. I play the bass guitar in a local band, and play some acoustic guitar also. I think making music is so much fun ... even Karaoke is fun if you don't play any *** just want to have a good time with music.I believe in a spiritual path. There is so much sadness in the world. I mean, if you look around the planet and see how so many people are living ... I just think it's important to get out of the our heads and develop some compassion. There are many 'religions' in the world, but I think that God talks to all his children and has used a different style to do so. In this day and age, I can't see to limit myself to just one book or teacher as the who world is open and although I was raised a Christian, I have learned much from the teachers of India and from Buddhism as well. I believe in non-violence and compassion and acceptance of the basic goodness in everyone.I think that in relationships, no one is perfect and we're all still learning. Are you looking for that special spark in someone's eyes that makes you feel at home? It's magical to recognize that in your partner, but have the heart and compassion to realize that we are all on the way to becoming that which we need from each other. I like to emphasize and spend time in the positive emotions in my relationship with others. It's so important to be able to feel comfortable with each other. I'm interested in a lot of things that are a bit "out of the ordinary" and it's important to not be judgmental with each other. I like to explore ideas, places, feelings. By the way, I'm a vegetarian ... part of the non-violence thing. I love to cook fresh veggie meals at home and am excited when I can find somewhere to go out to eat that is healthy and fresh.If you want to know anything else about me, just ask.     Hi,I love to write, hike, am heavily into photography. Since I returned to photography last July, I have had two of my photos used for book covers and am still blown away by that. I love talking with people. I totally suck at texting. I love my job and since starting it have dropped from 178lbs to 158. This job is very physical when I'm not driving a towmotor.
