I suppose that saying that I'm looking for a reliable friend, honest companion, and fun partner my seem a bit boring and or redundant. If it looks as if I left "lover" off that list, it's because that part usually works itself into the scenario eventually. It seems that we all lay down this supernumerary list of what we will or won't accept, but in truth, life, love, and living are about flexibility and patience. This I well understand.I enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, far from the compulsive habits of cable TV, ***, bar scenes, and confusion. I like to hike, enjoy and observe nature at work, watch people go about their days, and give folks a hand when I can. I drink seldom because I really never developed a need to drink often. I enjoy healthy food, can cook very well, as many a traditional Cajun man can, and have been known to cut a rug with a warm and smiling partner on a dance floor.I traveled and worked abroad many years. Know the difference between "classy" and tasteful (I like tasteful). I can honestly declare that I don't thrive on drama, but am able to cope with challenges, as they come about, in a patient and compassionate manner.
