About Me

My hobbies... I love to cook and entertain; doing dinner parties is one of my 'things' AND I actually keep the kitchen clean as I work. I enjoy working in both the flower gardens and the veggie garden. There is always a book of some kind on the go either for entertainment or to broaden my knowledge about some subject. I am a recording musician, composer and producer as well as a sculptor and designer. I love to fish and bird watch and lots of other things as well... Being bored or boring is definitely NOT part of my life style. I don't watch much TV but I do like watching some of the fishing shows and the MMA fights and sporting events. I'm also a licensed pilot.Goals and Aspirations: Just to live comfortably and enjoy the little things in life... One of my favorite ways to start my day is with a good cup of coffee and a bagel out on my front porch watching the various birds come to the seed feeders and the hummingbird feeders. Very entertaining characters!I am currently teaching music from my home to have that interaction and extra income. I have a website that is musicsloth.com that has a bio on it as well as lots of pictures and samples of my music. What makes me unique? My personality and values and work ethic and creativity and kind, gentle nature... this all sounds so self-serving. I guess that if we meet, you'll have to determine my 'uniqueness' for yourself!My taste in music ranges from symphony and classics to ragtime, blues, rock and folk music. A couple of styles that I really don't like are rap and hip-hop. If you check out my site you'll find that I compose with an ear to the symphonic approach to arranging. I haven't dated in so long, I'm not sure where to begin... Someplace quiet where it is easy to have conversation and to get a feel for the character and pulse of my date. Nothing too flashy... I wouldn't want my date to think that I was trying to impress her with superficialities.... Maybe a picnic on the boat or a lunch by the water. I'm open to suggestions...
