About Me

I'm a HAPPY person! I love my job (I've been into commercial art my whole life), I love reading, learning, cooking, flowers, animals and creating artwork. I'm colorful, quick-witted, silly, exotic, passionate, politely Southern, expressive, sometimes loud and sometimes WHY? I like most kinds of music - rock, metal, OLD country, R&B and classical. Crowds aren't really my thing anymore. As far as people are concerned, I prefer quality over quantity. However, I do love a concert, once in a while. I just moved out to the country - woods, deer, a lake, invisible neighbors, no street lights and LOVING IT!! The books I read are mostly information. History, science, religion, philosophy, I even read the dictionary! I'm a Jeopardy! beast.I also play Chess and Scrabble, you can never be too good at either of those....I love movies, from touching, to strange, to silly. That is, of course, an apt description of me..... I would like, very much, to meet a lady who *sparkles*. Someone who can hold my hand, hold my attention and hold a conversation. Women who are effortlessly attractive, interesting and funny, ROCK my world. Just be yourself - nobody does it better! I love to be creative. Whether that is drawing, painting, sculpting or arranging flowers - inside or out. I must admit I haven't been inspired much, as of late! I also love to cook, and I am THAT guy who also cleans the kitchen...and the house, and the yard, etc.!I love flea markets, yard sales and thrift stores. There are some things I didn't know I could not live without - until I see them CHEAP! I have a strong belief in God, as I understand God. My spiritual beliefs are sort of like this; while we may not agree on a shade of blue, we can agree that the color blue exist... I'm not a body with a soul, I'm just the opposite. I am sooo grateful for where I'm at in my life right now! I love animals, I am familiar with most of them, domesticated and wild. ( I have found that the strangest animal on the planet - is ME, hands down!) I ADORE children! They teach me so much about living in the moment, and love without judgement! And, like myself, they are full of energy and curiosity. I need to keep my self, mind and body, occupied!!! And yes, I am 50. Most people don't believe me when the subject comes up. Trust me, it surprises the hell out of me, too. I intend to keep it this way!! In closing, I hope you all find someone that inspires you!!! Conversation, coffee, food, a museum, a park - no pretense, let's try each other on!!
