I always thought I would never quit trying on here but I'm getting close. I've actually stopped sending e-mails so I have in effect taken a break. It has toughened me up which I see as a good thing cause I used to be way too sensitive. It has also made me realize that I'm not guaranteed another shot at love. Also, very important! I think it's better to be kind than right, hopefully you do too. The most important thing to me is to value "the relationship". If you are hurting, it doesn't matter why or who caused it. At that point it's just important that I'm there for you and I can make you see that we are in, whatever it is, together. I would also need this in return. Someone I once e-mailed with on here said to me, something very profound. I wish everyone could read this: the idea that chemistry just pops is, to me, ridiculous. I mean, sexual attraction can be there right away, but that has little to do with two individuals liking each other due to character! VERY IMPORTANT! Leaving out an important fact about yourself is lying by omission, which is LYING! I once had the pleasure of having someone I was growing to really like, inform me a few weeks into our budding relationship, that she was into swinging/polyamory.
