My hobbies include regular exercise ( walking, running and gym workouts), watching sports live and on TV, reading (mostly magazines, not a book reader...I avoided reading more than enough books in college and still did quite well), travel, hanging out with family and friends during a variety of occasions, placing an occasional wager now and then to make the outcome of various events more interesting but always believe in moderation. I love the beach and ocean all times of the year and will pickup and go there just to run and walk on the boardwalk and by the water, it is so peaceful and inspirational and sometimes therapeutic.I also like taking road trips to see my favorite teams play in various cities and stadiums. It's interesting experiencing cultures in other cities.Ideally and obviously since I am here, I aspire to find a special fish and settle down into a lasting committed relationship.I set high standards for myself regarding health and fitness. Even though I was told I am currently at my ideal weight (at my last physical exam a few days ago), I strive to do better and want to shed 4 more pounds and 1% - 2% body fat. I also strive to get back to a regular practicing Catholic. My attendance at weekly services is erratic but my faith is strong. Both parents are Italian and my father was born in Sicily so I have an interest in checking out my heritage. Two of my all-time favorite first dates involved the beach and food, of course1. Actually, this was a second date but it left such an impression on me and was such a perfect date I had to move it up a notch.2. A dinner date that involves shopping, cooking and eating together. Oops, this was another second date...sorry. We may have to skip the first date and go right to these second date ideas.

    I'm an old school easy going down to earth type who still opens doors and pulls out your chair at the table. I'm a romantic at heart and like to pamper. I don't attend church like I use too but I'm a god fearing man. I was only married once. Every relationship starts out being friends. Wouldn't you agree? Ultimately a long term relationship would be great but to me its not a race but a commitment is the goal. So I'm looking for someone with similar interests and desires.
