I have a rewarding 23-year career in education. Although when I was young, I did want to be an astronaut -- But I am now a Vice President of a college, so I can't really complain.I enjoy staying in shape by going to the gym, swimming, and cycling. I try to cycle regularly, except if it's cold. For entertainment I enjoy live theater, movies, trips to the ocean and to explore new places (at least new to me). Outside of work, I enjoy a simple, uncomplicated, drama-free life, and I like to participate in wine tasting events, fund raising events, charities, and community events. Much of life is filled with routine, so I like to take trips and explore new things and go to festivals, i.e. like a street fair or Renaissance fair. I believe that a relationship has its own pace and momentum, and trying to force a relationship into a prescribed predetermined pattern will distort it and create unnecessary tension. I would like to meet someone who is emotionally mature, self-assured, and confident. And from this confidence to be able to show vulnerability and appreciate and reciprocate levity, banter, and humor.
