Hello ladies thanks for reading my profile. i have been around Sports my whole life especially Golf. Has I have gotten older I appreciate so many more things. The big one started last may when my Doctor said my blood pressure was high. I decided I am going to get back to my college weight and have lost 80 pounds. Now I am going for High school weight! E.M. are also on my list.Has I said I have been around Golf a long time if you play that is a bonus but not a must by any means. I am looking for one lady to get to know and see where it goes. Things I seek in a woman: Intelligence. Assertiveness. Ambition. Confidence and a sense of self-worth. A sense of humor, maybe even a wicked sense of humor. A woman that doesn't need a man, but wants one in her life. A woman that waits for the man to open the door. (this not just a first-date thing - something ingrained in my character and a way of my life.) She should; have a career, volunteer or have an avocation to keep her mind, body and spirit occupied. She should have an active life-style in which she is concerned about her health and body – but not obsessively. She should have the little black dresses, but able comfortably and confidently go to coffee or a live music performance in a t-shirt and jeans. A most important item: the ability to communicate and stave-off unnecessary arguments by listening and talking. A great conversation is one, in which, any particular topic is never finished before taking- She should take the time (or at-least attempt) to construct complete sentences, with whole words. Making a meager attempt at the 'lost art' of writing impresses me. She should show some creative originality. I'm not the typical guy - I'd rather "do something" than "watch" a sporting event on TV. Agree on thirty minutes. If either is not interested, then each have an exit strategy and can leave after the thirty minute mark without hurting anyone's feelings. If the conversation is compelling…that will prolong the meeting naturally.

Summer time is short around here so I love to spend as much time outdoors as I can. You can usually find me out at the beach, on the water kayaking, at the pool, an outdoor concert or at some BBQ usually with family. I keep saying I will take up golf, maybe this will be the summer. I play racquetball when I can and mostly thru the winter. I put my home gym to use as often as I can or as time alows.Travelling is awesome. I have been to many places with so much yet to explore and always open to new ideas.I am in the process of creating a brand new future for myself. I set my goals high and strive to acheve them. I like to think I have it all but there's just one thing missing, someone special to share it with and to build a future together. My work ethic is very strong so I do tend to work alot but family always does come first. Life throws us many curve balls along the way. Some can be very destructive. I believe it's all in how you handle it that shows the true character in a person. If you're looking for honesty, loyalty, integrity and sincerity you've just found it. mediocrity and doing things half assed annoy the hell outta me.I love music and almost any kind with limitations on rap and head banging. 2 very different types of music. Been to all kinds of concerts even those I didn't think I'd enjoy like Yanni (damn, did I just broadcast that? lol) Music can set or chnage a mood pretty easily.You're still reading? I do have all of my teeth and my hair and I'm not in to farming. I serve on the Community Service Foundation Board which helps local families. Hmmm the first date, it really depends on what I'm feeling at that time. it could be as simple as meeting over a coffee or other adult beverage, lunch or even a dinner in some cozy & romantic location. Could even be a fancy restaurant private dining room experience.
