Hello and thanks for looking at my profile! "Someone you haven't met yet is wondering what it'd be like to know someone like you". That's pretty much what I like to believe!My life has been full of many blessings. Although there have been times of pain and hardships along the way, I am thankful for where I am in life. I choose to see the good in all situations and also to learn from mistakes. I've learned priorities change as you get older and that friendship (true friendship) is the best you can offer and receive in this life. This includes the love of family as well. I enjoy a wide range of activities and I'm generally not one to sit still. I like to read, but if there's a project to do, then I usually opt for that, especially during the daytime. When the weather is nice, you'll catch me hiking, kayaking, or just working in my yard. I enjoy gardening and may give canning a try this year! I love nature and enjoy the outdoors! I also greatly enjoy going to several of the local venues here in town to listen to many of the cover bands. I have several favorites and try to make it out once a week. I might even enjoy a little dancing! I'd like to meet someone with similar interest. Shopping together for dinner and then cooking together would be heavenly! Of course there must be wine (are you kidding?:) I also greatly enjoy snuggling up and watching a movie with someone special.I believe we have the opportunity to create the life we want. Every experience and every person that comes into our life has had a time and purpose to make us who we are today. None were mistakes! I'm looking forward to sharing the rest of an amazing life with my best friend. It's recess, let's play! A little side note...I do try to take care of myself physically and would like to be with someone with the same desire. An accountability partner for diet and exercise would be wonderful, as sometimes my discipline is not the best :) I'm also generally attracted to women my size or smaller. It's just my preference.I wish you all success in your search and remember there is someone out there for all of us. When the time is right, we shall meet! I know the coffee shop idea may sound mundane, but if there's no mutual interest, then at least we get to enjoy a good cup of coffee or perhaps even a glass of wine! Actually, I don't see the first meeting as a date, but a peek into the possibility. Then if there's a spark, then I'm sure we could find something else to do in order to get to know each other. Perhaps a hike or antique shopping, followed my Mexican and Margaritas :)
