Looking for a woman that enjoys the simpler things in Life.Life to me is about learning new adventures and sharing the knowledge learned ....I like trying to keep a somewhat active lifestyle, soin the summer months it can include camping, kayaking ,and hiking or bike riding,swimming at the lake,also country drives to nowhere,even walking in the summer rain. Most activities I like to do are around the water.Just relaxing at home watching a funny movie or playing backgammon or other board games ,vegetable gardening , learning to cook and even dancing.I also enjoy woodworking , and home renovations. In the winter months I slow down a bit , and that can include cross country skiing , tobogganing and indoor swimming .I'd rather be outside doing anything when the weather is nice .I also enjoy going out to craft shows, county fairs, art shows, museums or just a relaxing, or just great conversation.I'm pet friendly, I have owned dogs most of my life, but I am without any dogs now.I'm self sufficient, I have my own life , just looking to share some time with someone else. Love like you don't need the money, dance like you have never been hurt and work like nobody is watching I'm a creative professional (architecture), open minded, intelligent, opinionated, active, athletic (exercise daily but not insanely) and very independent, with a warm family and great circle of friends. I'm generally easygoing but I have a backbone and a passionate edge at times. I like to learn new things and have a healthy curiosity about the world. I`m established and generous but not materialistic- I prefer experiences to things. I strongly believe in giving back and making the world (or a small part of it) a better place (I don't own a Speedo). Nothing beats travel- it's a rush to be a little off-balance somewhere exotic and unfamiliar with all 6 senses in overdrive. Been to the Sphinx, Sagrada Familia, pyramids, Petra, Istanbul and more...it's a long list. I take a mean photo when I travel and I go to soak up the culture, experience the place, connect with people and learn something. My other drug of choice is live music - classical to alt rock (from this decade) followed closely by art; culture, sports, movies for grown ups, and almost no TV...I prefer to go out and have fun. But sometimes a night in cooking dinner, sharing wine and watching a movie together is ideal. I always have a book or two on the go. Ideas are oxygen for me. If we match wits, everything else will likely fall into place. My interests and sensibilities are very urban. I'd prefer to meet a like- You are slim to average- self-sufficient, happy and healthy, warm and witty with depth and intelligence ...likely a professional and willing to spoil and be spoiled.
