Ex Canadian soldier that has retired after 21 years of service to Queen and Country. I have seen all of the best and worst that the world has to offer. On that note, there are a few standard's of life that I will not change in myself and hope that you in your own way will have them as well. They are Honesty, Personal Integrity, Honor. As the saying go's, to thine own self be true. A wonderful person will extend that to all those around them.So at this point in my life I work in construction building natural gas pipeline's.Right now I am looking for someone to share my free time with. Catch a movie(yes I dig "chick flick's" too), the occasional dinner out, art gallery,or just a coffee or drink some where that we can enjoy each other's company and bond as two separate people(as I read this last part it is missing something. But I hope you understand). A movie(your choice) is the start( there is just something about sharing a large popcorn). Follow this by a quiet candle light dinner followed by some quality time together dancing or just hanging in a coffee house. End of the evening,I will drive you home( or where ever),walk you up to the door, hold your hands, a kiss most softly on the cheek, a thank you for a wonderful evening, with eye's closed, a nod of my head, And I drive away a far richer man.

I drink socially, enjoy traveling and do go to church on a weekly basis (I don't preach this though).I just got out of a 9 year relationship which she ended suddenly. I have no burning desire to dive into another long term situation unless it is just right. I have been out of the dating scene for a long time and I would like to get my feet wet again (hence plenty of fish). The ideal first date would be coffee on a patio in the afternoon. No pressure, just a chance to get a first impression. The idea of a first date at a movie does not agree with me: you sit in the dark and don't talk! Coffee (or tea for that matter) is low key no pressure and a chance to get a first impression.
