Well, back again after a year and a half. Gonna give it another try and see what happens, so sit back, grab your favorite beverage and relax. I'm 53, widowed for almost 3 years and have been married 3 times. 5'6" and plan on growing some more as soon as I reach puberty. I guess I can be considered an average to just a" bit more" build depending on your particular standards. My sense of humor might be considered a bit warped, love to laugh and make others laugh. :-). Spent 10 years in the Army where I got my nsg. license. Went to Desert Storm and got sand in my butt. Married three times and my last wife passed away almost three years ago. I have 3 grown children, one living with me and a grandson. One chihuahua, 2 dachshunds, great Pyrenees, lab mutt (all rescues) some goats and soon some chickens. Just a warning, the small dogs sleep in the bed. I have a greenhouse that I like to grow bonsai and other various stuff. Pretty large garden this year. :-). Kinda shy when i first meet someone, but that will go away soon enough. I have a little issue with something called hsv. Mostly just an occasional skin rash and generally not an issue, but drug companies have to make their money, so it has become a rather big stigma for them. Since about 20%-25% are carrying it, you're probably safer with someone that knows, than someone that has it and doesn't know, or won't tell ya. :-) I would probably be a bit more inclined to make contact first except for this little issue, so if ya see anything here that interests you, give me a hollerSo, if you're still reading, Hi. I would like to take our time, and get to know each other, but ultimately looking for a permanent relationship. Looking for someone that is rather laid back and easy going. Between, oh 40ish to mid 50ish? Type A personalities just wouldn't work. I guess it's gonna be a given that you're gonna have to like animals. lol. Ultimately, I would like to find one person that I can wake up with in the morning, go to sleep with at night, we can smile at each other and I will know that it is me that can make you smile like that. I'm sure I will add more as I think of it, but I guess this is a start. I'll stick a picture in here, but as soon as I can find someone to take a decent one or two, hopefully you will be a bit better impressed. :-) If you're still here reading, we just had it. haha. Second one I want to know about you. I was wondering....is there anyone that doesn't like "long walks on the beach?" lol

I've been single all my life, never been married. Had a very stressful job for many years and decided to slow things down. I am currently an insurance house inspector. I have a very strong family and enjoy close ties with my parents and siblings. I consider my nieces and nephew to be my kids as I've always been around them as they grew up. Love my house and take great interest and pride in the improvements my dad and I have completed during the years. I totally dig managing the landscaping, but I probably could use some tips on the interior decorating. I've always had dogs and have two German Shepherds as of now. I would look forward to conversation along with a person who enjoys movies, music, and the arts. i have a very close circle of friends most of whom I've know since high school. I'd hope you would look forward to meeting them all as well as introducing me to yours. In the past, I've always had an interest in exploring, hiking, camping, and I recently rekindled an interest in fishing. Presently, I hope to meet someone to do all things with and get to know better than I've ever known anyone.
