I have my own place and enjoy the independance of living alone but do feel something is missing in my life and that I miss the companionship and love of a lady.I would like to meet someone who, if I was down to my last Rolo, I would still like to give her one. However, I am not one for spending hours on the phone or texting constantly as I have a life that I enjoy and have met people on this site who wished to completely take over my life. I cannot do with someone who is not secure in themselves or who have previous relationship issues that lead to this sort of behaviour. It does sound harsh but some people on the site cannot act in a loving or trusting way and strangle any chance of a relationship before it starts. So please no more needy, Psychotic, bunny boilers. Having said that I have met some that are still friends and some where it has not been the ideal match between us and that is how it goes sometimes.I have a good sense of humour and love a laugh. Do not like horses because I was knocked over by a police horse when I was a kid so sorry ladies if you have a horse it would not be something that I would want to share with you.Not keen on ladies with loads of tattoos either. Could manage a few discrete tasteful ones but I don't like Women that compete with Popeye.And ladies, what is with the pictures on site of Horses (already covered that). lap dogs, cats and especially children? (Really? never heard of groomers?)these are as off putting for blokes as are chest pictures of us and us with cars and motorbikes?Not a big drinker, I don't usually drink in the house but not against having a drink at home with family or friends. Certainly cannot sit in and drink aloneI have two grown up daughters ***& ***who have there own places. Update is my eldest has just moved back in with me as she has split from her hubby.Going to be a grandad in Sept ***for the first time, I cannot waitI feel the best way to get to know me is to send a message and lets meet up for a coffee or a drink. Done this online dating before, have had some interesting and good chats, past and present nice to know there are genuine people on here..[ July ***]. Was in a 13 year relationship, which ended nearly 2years ago..
