Man. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: woman. In age: 50-60

I run my own small business, designing and fitting high-end bathrooms for the domestic market. I play golf and love ski-ing and running when I get the time. I have two fantastic grown-up (most of the time) boys who, although their mum and I were divorced several years ago, I see a lot of and have a great relationship with. Since my teens, I have only had long-term relationships ***and I have a lot to give the right woman. Long-term, I would love to meet someone honest and faithful who can appreciate those qualities in a partner, along with a sense of humour and romance.... In the short-term, lets have fun and see how things go?Likes in a partner: Intelligence, slim-average build,(sorry but that's the way I am) independent, free thinking, kind, thoughtful, tactile, sociable.Dislikes: Shallow, hard, self-centered, flighty, people who think it's cool to be stupid, messy, humourless, people who laugh at others rather than with them,Is that too fussy?? On a first date, we would want to get to know each other in a relaxed environment with no pressures, so a casual drink or coffee would be fun.

Looking for: woman. In age: 49-59

Ok, so I have to write something about myself that obviously ought to be reasonably appealing to the opposite sex so that they might consider following up a cursory look at my dodgy photos? Tricky thing this, I could do what a lot of people on these sites do and offer a third party assessment e.g. 'All my friends say I'm great fun!' But I can't help feeling that is a bit of a cop out as it's only natural your friends would say nice stuff about you otherwise they'd be your enemies or something wouldn't they?! I'm a guy who technically is middle aged, a title that I personally hate as it sounds like I should be digging an allotment and that I do stuff like feed the Ducks in the park on my way to the Co- Nope, not me, I am not that guy, I am a man who buys chocolate coated HobNobs and proper Tea bags along with assorted goodies like Wine, Tuna steaks and Luxury nibbles for the hell of it; what's more I don't even check the receipts! I dont have an allotment either, or a Caravan or collections of stuff like Thimbles, Antique Pipes or any old tat like that. I like to keep my home modern and minimalist; I like nice quality things and always keep a vase of fresh cut flowers on the go. Some people might find that a bit odd me buying myself flowers? I get the feeling when I'm queuing up in the shop to pay for a bunch of Mixed Orientals that people look at me as some sort of guilty party and that Im apologising to someone or something? When I get to the till the assistant always starts to peal the price tag off for me, further fueling my suspicion that nobody thinks I would buy them for myself. Maybe I should hit back at this social stereotyping and proclaim in a loud voice so that everyone in the shop can hear: "Leave the price tag on mate," "they're for me actually!" tNotwithstanding my mistrust of third party assessment I have been told I am man who is in touch with his Feminine side, I'm not entirely sure what that's supposed to mean? Are there ladies out there who are in touch with their Masculine side? If you know the answer to that, please drop a line. First date would be just a quick coffee to be honest, it must be someone I have already got to know a little through chatting, preferably on the phone at some point. I'd prefer not to rush into things and if the chemistry really isn't there for either or us it would be best to move on rather than try to make something happen just because you doubt your *** really like to find someone with a sharp wit, we all have had problems at some point in our lives but we should accept these wherever possible and use them as experience. Someone with a good sense of humour often hides an inner strength and great depth of wisdom which help them rise above their trouble and make them more rounded individuals.
