I wish to attract a nice lady to be my trusted companion, lover, friend, and teacher. I'm looking for someone possessing warm feminine qualities and an affinity for physical affection and touch. I feel it's unrealistic and naive to expect any person to have escaped the gauntlet of life's conditioning, since we've all been marinating in it forever. I feel it's important to have an awareness of what our buttons or triggers are so we can actively practice not reacting to them. It has been said that those who stomp on our buttons are in our lives specifically to do so, in order to help us grow.Whether a potential love connection lasts 30 minutes or 30 years is beyond me to predict or control. I'll get out of the way and allow life to dictate how that manifests and simply enjoy the surprise. Marriage does not guarantee happiness in my view, so while I'm open to considering whatever live brings, including marriage, it's not something I long for or need in order to be happy. I feel true happiness is an inside job, rather than being something we discover outside ourselves. And, for the record, I do not pretend to have the pursuit of happiness all figured out. Regardless, as you well know… the right partner can sure add some sweet icing to the cake!— as I was when I was 4. Simple pleasures like sitting hand-in-hand with that special someone, receiving a surprise package in the mail, or smelling apple crisp in the oven on a cool fall day can leave me as happy as a pig in mud. I don't need to be doing what some may consider extraordinary things to be content. Life's simple pleasures, of all sorts, really float my boat.I've filled my life with activities that scare me a little, or a lot, and I love the feeling of aliveness derived from those pursuits. I enjoy going out from time to time but always enjoy returning home where I can recharge. Seen on a bar graph I'd probably show up as 80% homebody and 20% party animal. I'm super-grateful for the way my home, car, and possessions take care of me so I take care of them in return. I maintain a clean home and I'm an organized person. I remove my shoes in the house, for example, and I'd do so whether I owned a multimillion dollar home or I was tenting in the woods. I'm very intrigued by contemplating the changeless force that animates our bodies and presumably doesn't die with the bodysuit I'm in. I enjoy studying many aspects of spiritual expansion. I'm not at all religious and view much of religions manmade doctrine as divisive.I'm a creative person, dabbling in things like singing, drumming, songwriting, photography, and videography. I very much enjoy many creative aspects of the Apple computer platform and spend a fair amount of time there.By choice, I'm currently unemployed. I'm using this hiatus to thoughtfully create the next chapter of my working life.
