Single guy, divorced over ten years. No kids, although I’ve always loved them and enjoy being around them. I have a place of my own, no roommates, no parents upstairs (or, for that matter, any other interpersonal distractions). But, before this profile veers off into rather lonesome and sad country, I do have a large circle of friends I’ve accumulated over the years, who keep me busy and laughing, as well as a large and close family. I’ve been lucky. All my life I’ve felt well-loved and appreciated.I have a job that still excites me every day, working with people I respect and admire. And I seldom leave the office without feeling I’ve somehow made a difference. You'll never hear me complain about work; it's a dream gig, and I know it. It wasn’t always like this, but professional fulfillment, like personal peace of mind, takes time and patience and hard work to achieve.I stay active by camping a few times a year, hiking, walking, canoeing, biking. And I balance the physical stuff with cultural pursuits like museums, author readings, lectures, and day trips to places that spark some wierd, quirky interest.It’s a good life. I have no complaints. I just know how much better it can be with the right woman. Setting loose the animals at the zoo.

    Hello,Being catholic, I come from a relatively large and close nit family. Most my family is nearby somewhere in the twin cities area and the remaining family is still in my home town up-north.I am pretty much open to any activities and have my share of hobbies. I find these days that I am trying to whittle some out as there is not just enough time in a day. I try to concentrate on a select few and lately my favorites have been motorcycling, snowmobiling, fishing (when I can) and working around the house. I enjoy comedy clubs, theater, cultural events, county fairs, and going out to bars once in a while as well as visiting family and friends or just relaxing at home. When I drink, it is socially, I am not a heavy drinker and do not live at the bars. (just saying)I have a 9 year old daughter who I share custody with pretty much ***. She is awesome and means the world to me. We have a lot of fun and she is a good well behaved kid. I know that most people my age have kids off to college, so if you are not interested in being involved with someone with a younger child, I completely understand. However, we have a lot of fun when we are together and I have a lot of time on my own.I am currently working hard on getting into more of a healthy lifestyle. I have good success when I stay committed to the routine. Would be nice to have someone to work with in this area, I work with weights, bicycle more in the summer and cross country ski in winter (provided there is actually some snow). I do downhill ski but really have not done that in a few years.
