...in this sea of fish.I just turned 52, and I'm shifting to the next phase of my life.I'm Semi-retired, which really means, "I work when I want to, not because I have to."Sometimes I choose to. Sometimes I don't....I love to BE in the mountains! Whether it's driving, camping, walking, biking, skating or skiing, or -- most of all -- sitting by a stream and meditating, just 'being' in the mountains is rejuvenating. I do it as often as I can.I also like to travel. My two favorite words are: Road Trip!!If your answer to, "I wonder where that road goes?" is: "I' don't know. Let's go find out!" Then we should go for a drive.I have a wide variety of career experiences which include: US Army Intelligence, as a German Linguist. I am a veteran of Desert Storm; Construction, as an Electrician; Financial Services, as a Manager of Retail Tax Prep Offices; Real Estate, as a Broker, Property Manager, and Investor.These experiences don't define me but they do color the way I see life. I have also studied religious history and philosophy, and the history of Western Europe. I guess I kind of like to study and experience different cultures. I'm currently learning Spanish.I'm looking for a partnership with a woman who likes the same kinds of things I do, but has a mind and life of her own. She understands that thoughts and words have power; that they create our future, whatever that may be. After that, all things are possible. Coffee.... It doesn't matter what event or activity we choose, there will probably be coffee involved. It's how I roll.I think a good first date is meeting for a happy hour coffee, tea, etc. someplace nice, spending an hour or so in conversation. If the evening is enjoyable, we could go for a walk and continue the conversation. If we have some common interests, we might choose something we both enjoy and engage in it together. After all, why put off till tomorrow what you can do today. We might enjoy it and want to do it again tomorrow.

    I have lot's of outdoor things I love to do, and golf is only one of them we'll do lots of things together anyways. I've been a Chef for almost all my life and still love cooking .     I'm looking to meet a special someone. I believe she's out there. I'm not a "typical" guy by my experiences. I'm a hairstylist and part time comedian. I have a muscular build and really want to quit smoking as that is the only unhealthy thing I do, but I have to stop that asap. I love seeing live entertainment, but not music in a club where I can't even talk to someone. I was a great son, I'm a great dad, great friend and a great partner for that special someone. Too mushy? Again, I might not be the one for you. What can I say, I love romance, kissing, cuddling, being in love and lust with my partner. Well, if any of this sounds like I'm worth a try, let me know. Any questions, just ask. I'm an open book but a very interesting read. I feel the woman's comfort level is very important, so I'd like to do something they're comfortable with. A casual meeting for coffee, a drink or something light to eat. Mainly, I want to be someplace where I can spend quality time talking and getting to know the other person as much as possible and see if we click.
