About Me

I'm very simple...easy going, and easy to please. I was married for 21 years and am divorced for 5 years. I like to work hard during the week and take it easy on the weekends. Like I said, simple is better. In the summer I like to go on early morning walk's, bike rides or just sit outside while it's still cool, even though I like the temps. when their HOT. In the late summer early fall and winter you will find me doing some of those same things including xc skiing or just sitting around a fire with you and/or friends.I sometimes find myself waking early to go for walks in the fresh snow. I am High School educated with a whole lot of good old fashioned know how and common sense. I have worked in the manufacturing field my entire life. I truly enjoy building machines and then making them run at their best and fixing them when they don't. I make a modest, but honest living and have my son living with me. He's 19 and is currently taking his generals at Normandale College. He is #1 in my life and takes priority, but does not keep me from having time to spend with someone else and or friends. I'm interested in living out the rest of my life .....happy, with someone who is looking for the same. I consider myself healthy and try to keep it that way by mixing in some good eating with the bad and exercising when i can. No smoking or drugs for me....ever, but I do like to have a cold beer now and then with meals, friends or just relaxin' with that special someone after a hard week. Sports?...... I love NASCAR,like football and occasionally some baseball. Ive owned a couple harley's in the past but am currently without. I hope to buy another one in the near future. My music tastes lean towards country, but I will listen to most anything....except rap. I love to cook, grill and even do some baking ! I know.....and his boy have to eat. So as I said simple = easy. Any Takers? Would love to hear from you. It says to make the description long...I won't. First date? Something simple. Dinner a movie. If weather permits maybe a walk. Or ALL three.

Carpe Deim! If you feel the same and are looking to find someone to share your dreams with in Music City, keep reading…. Since rescuing my dog last September, trips to the dog park have become an "essential" fun activity for us both. A trip to the gym, or just a run, is a basic part of my day. Spending time with friends and family, especially my daughter, is a wonderful addition to any day. Rach plays on a very competitive travel soccer team during months her high school team is on hiatus. My daughter knows it is time for me to once again find someone to share my life with; her encouragement is a significant reason I decided to give this site a try.I am a technology consultant specializing in helping small and medium size businesses with networking and web site related issues. I also have attended several post graduate specialized courses through the years covering technology and leadership issues.I love to travel, especially with someone special. Locally, I enjoy a wide variety of restaurants and hangouts. I am comfortable anywhere from Southstreet to Flemings.Among my favorite things are, a great meal with someone special. An hour at the dog park watching kids and animals loving every second of life. A great NFL game. Discovering a new band. Watching my daughter's soccer team . Sitting by the fire or in my hot tub. A great workout. My family ran an amusement park for several generations. I grew up thinking riding a roller coaster twenty times in a row on a random summer afternoon was perfectly normal. I have found there is more than a little similarity between life and a merry-go-round (those rollercoaster’s I am so fond of offer a rather compelling metaphor as well).I’“home.” Still, no one mistakes my northern voice for that of a southerner. I love to travel, but prefer to do so with my guide book in hand. Wandering at one’s own pace, be it on a trip or through life in general, is something I greatly value. It is great to plan a trip, whether it is out of the country, or just to a nice dinner around town, with someone.I run my own small consulting company, and am also involved as an owner in another business venture. Being independent gives me great opportunities professionally as well as flexibility to spend time and focus on, the people and things which are truly important. Among those high on this list are my only child, a daughter who consistently proves herself wise beyond her years and excels at everything she commits to; a rambunctious and very, very, lovable, dog who acts every bit the sixteen month old puppy she is today, frequent exercise, good food, wine and music. What I would really like is to be in a relationship again with someone special; someone to place on the top of the list of what matters in life….Computers, photography, writing and reading are interests both personally and professionally. I am a great believer that loving what you do as “work,” being passionate about your job, is a great blessing and one secret to happiness in this world.I want to find someone to share life with again. I suppose this goes a long way towards explaining why I am “here.” Getting to know someone and just seeing where it leads, or even better, discovering someone to share much more than a spring time afternoon, is what I am hoping for.If trips to places filled with sun, gentle breezes, where the “don’t worry (about anything), be happy” mindset is “mandatory,” I hope you get in touch. If getting to know each other better while sharing some special place around town some spring day soon is the kind of trip you are looking for at the moment, this is a start. Either way, the next step is to get in touch. Finding a nice place around town to sit and have a glass of wine, or cup of coffee, and talking is a great way to spend a first date. I enjoy venues where you can sit outside, or at least feel the breeze through the windows. If you have a favorite restaurant or bar, I am open to you setting the stage. Alternatively, if you want me to handle the details, I am more than happy to do so. Being somewhere comfortable is key; getting to know one another and seeing what chemistry may exist is what a first date should focus on.

Live music always puts me in a good mood - country music is now my favorite but I still like the old time rock and roll. LSU is my favorite sports team with the Broncos and Rockies coming in a close second. Meet somewhere for a good happy hour!
