...in this sea of fish.I just turned 52, and I'm shifting to the next phase of my life.I'm Semi-retired, which really means, "I work when I want to, not because I have to."Sometimes I choose to. Whether it's driving, camping, walking, biking, skating or skiing, or -- most of all -- sitting by a stream and meditating, just 'being' in the mountains is rejuvenating. Then we should go for a drive.I have a wide variety of career experiences which include: US Army Intelligence, as a German Linguist. I am a veteran of Desert Storm; Construction, as an Electrician; Financial Services, as a Manager of Retail Tax Prep Offices; Real Estate, as a Broker, Property Manager, and Investor.These experiences don't define me but they do color the way I see life. I have also studied religious history and philosophy, and the history of Western Europe. I guess I kind of like to study and experience different cultures. I'm currently learning Spanish.I'm looking for a partnership with a woman who likes the same kinds of things I do, but has a mind and life of her own. She understands that thoughts and words have power; that they create our future, whatever that may be. After that, all things are possible. Coffee.... It doesn't matter what event or activity we choose, there will probably be coffee involved. It's how I roll.I think a good first date is meeting for a happy hour coffee, tea, etc. someplace nice, spending an hour or so in conversation. If the evening is enjoyable, we could go for a walk and continue the conversation. If we have some common interests, we might choose something we both enjoy and engage in it together. After all, why put off till tomorrow what you can do today. We might enjoy it and want to do it again tomorrow.

6' 190ish Blue eyes, salt and pepper hair. They say I'm attractive, they say I'm funny, witty, charming... "So they say"... My kids say I'm a great catch :)... This part sounds silly but?.. It would be nice to meet someone I "click" with. I don't so much have trouble finding dates, or friends to do things with; and I have several great female friends; but I would like to find someone that I can navigate life with, build a future with and enjoy life. I like to hang with friends, take hikes, go camping with my kids, (My kids don't live with me unfortunately)... But are the most important part of my life. They are really great people, and actually very easy to be around. lolI like to take drives, go fishing and swimming in my lake, working on and around my house, making art, gardening, throwing the occasional bbq or party, I love movies.
