I bought my first house after living in a condo for over 25 years. One of the things I love about having my own home is landscaping/gardening which has become a hobby of mine. I also really enjoy going to the gym everyday though not a gym rat, it's just fun and I feel great afterwards. Music is a very important part of my life - I pretty much love it all except for rap. I like movies and some tv shows. Following POF's suggestions, the next thing I should talk about is my goals and aspirations. At this point in my life, I feel I've attained all I want in terms of material things and have come to the realization that what one owns is not important. The biggest goal I have right now, and have always have, is to find that one special person to share the rest of my life. I don't like the phrase "long-term relationship" as that implies a beginning and an end. I am looking for a life-time partner. The term "open relationship" is an oxymoron. It makes no sense to me. I am a very non-scene guy. Not into the party scene and hanging out with gay guys exclusively. I like nature, animals, hiking, fishing, bike riding. I don't like shopping or antiquing. My favorite clothing is Levis 501's and a t-shirt. I love cars but prefer to own a pick-up except for the gas mileage. I think pretty much all I've said sounds like I'm pretty unique, very "non-gay". Just a guy who happens to be gay. First date... this is a loaded question. Not sure what to say here. Ideally it would be great to meet a guy who I have a lot of chemistry with, we talk over dinner for a couple of hours and then go for a long walk and watch the sunset. Ok, that's ideal and far from reality. I think the best way to approach a first date is to simply go to lunch together. It's an hour out of one's life. If it works out, we call each other and plan a second date. If it doesn't work out, no big deal.

Man. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.
Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
I am a single guy, open to dating with no agenda. Admittedly, one day it may lead to finding someone to share in life. In the meantime, I look forward to sharing adventures and meaningful connections along the way with quality men that have similar aspirations. I enjoy and can be quite humorous, and of course know when seriousness is called for. I enjoy life as it comes and also have an appreciation of energy work/massage and life's spiritual aspects. I am a social person who enjoys being busy seeing movies, theater, and dining out with friends. What I SEEK:A man able to share his feelings, communicate openly, emotionally available, respectful of others and has similar like-minded goals and interests. Of course, it would be great to find some one attractive physically, spiritually and emotionally and that they find the same in me
