I'm pretty easy going and down to earth. I got to travel the world while in the service and I do like to travel when I get the time. I have a bit of an independent streak. I feel that neither of us should have to change to be the others idea of a perfect partner. We are who we are so let's just be real & honest and see if it turns into something. I like outdoor activities: scuba diving, camping, ATV/mudding, walks on the beach, I like to cook and sometimes I'm even good at it....LOL. I listen to all kinds of music: Rock, Reggae, Country, Pop/Top 40, Rap or Club music, it all depends on my mood, and yes I like it loud at times. I enjoy going out to see live bands. I'm young at heart but not immature. I still like to party sometimes. Aging is mandatory, maturing to boredom is optional. I have a pretty good sense of humor; maybe a bit odd though. I still like wild roller coaster rides (the ones at the amusement parks). I think everyone needs some excitement in their life. I have to be a professional all day at work, in my free time I want to have fun and maybe even get a little silly at times. LOLI spend a fair amount of time volunteering in the community and have a couple of pet projects that I work on. I'm pretty handy, I like to work with my hands. I'm a fairly open person, not shy or easily intimidated, my honesty may scare some people, but I think it makes life simpler. I'm not looking someone to cook for me, or clean my house or sew or do my laundry I'm perfectly capable of caring for myself. What I do want is a partner with a personality that compliments mine, and has similar interests, and is my equal. Someone that is as comfortable riding an ATV and getting muddy as well getting dressed up for a special night out. An honest woman that carries herself with confidence turns my head. First dates can be as simple a getting a cup of coffee or walking around a local downtown area. Any situation that puts both at ease and makes it easy to talk is the best way to start. If both people are honest and sincere on first date, it will quickly be learned if there is more to come.

The dating scene is a new thing for me now that both my sons are away at college. Just giving this a try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If I find a match, thats great!!! I have lots of motorcycles which is my passion. Would love to share my happiness and take that special person on some vacations and bike rides on my BMW R***GS. Still a child at heart. Looking to travel more now that I have more time to do what I want. I am more active and younger looking than my actual age. Can you keep up with me?
