I have had a lifelong passion for individual type outdoor sports and pursuits of all sorts and am hoping to share those joys and experiences with someone. Must be comfortable with ones self, able to rough it sometimes. Tough to do on kayak trips sometimes, let alone on a ski tour to some little hut somewhere. Having written that, nice, cozy, snuggle places are also very high on my priorities.Going camping and incorporating our sports of choice or just plain old walking, hiking, hanging out by a fire are important to me. I like to explore our beautiful province for places to pursue my activities. I do like to fuss around a kitchen cooking, but rarely bake, except for the odd batch of chocolate chip cookies. I enjoy gardening, and truly love the renewal and growth from season to season.Some of my sporting accomplishments are having finished an Ironman race twice, a couple of ultra trail runs and races, numerous adventure rides on mountain bikes or long road bike rides. I have rock climbed my whole life doing first ascents in a few of the areas that I have climbed in. Skiing, being nordic, downhill or back-country is always great to fit in, when in season. I have a double kayak, hint, that I really enjoy doing trips with.I am not expecting you to keep up, or for that matter, me trying to keep up, its about participation, encouragement, and compassion for the joys of life, our pursuits, and what it takes to have a fulfilling experience. It is important for me to have really good, open communication, and understand its importance for any relationship to be successful. Well as for a first date, this whole online dating thing is, as I have fished before, a bit of a conundrum. But at the end of it all nothing like wandering on some trail or pathway outside is kinda nice.
