Because of the situation with the internet, I believe that myself and whoever is on the other end of the date should have become familiar and pretty comfortable with each other by talking, messaging, getting-to-know-one-another, etc. The first date is open for negotiation, as I'm not a very picky person. Whether it be a dinner at a restaurant, going to a movie, something as simple as taking a drive, or simply spending time together doing anything at all, to me the only thing that matters is the two of us feeling comfortable in person with each other. I want the other person to walk away excited for a second date, likewise, I want the same thing.
