I am a graduate student who is getting a Masters in Professional counseling. I am currently during an internship as a high school counselor for my last year to finish the degree! In college I majored in Psychology and Environmental Science where I was captain of the tennis team. I took 2 years after graduating to become a certified tennis pro where I worked at a club to get my finances set in order to pursue my doctorate. At the club I became director of youth and high performance academies specializing in teaching children. In addition to being a tennis pro, I am a behavioral analyst of a small private company that helps people who are classified as having the worst 10% I chart maladaptive behaviors, write IEP & BSPs while doing consultant work with other companies helping place individuals in settings that will increase their overall well-being. The job is very rewarding, but definitely one that constantly keeps me on my toes. I am very driven and love to have fun along the way. I am in a place in my life where I am tired of the shallow hookup and would like to see what else is out there. I am definitely ready to put the effort I have in developing myself into the successful, young professional that I am into making someone else happy. I value a good conversation over talking to someone that feels like talking to a wall. I believe that chivalry is not dead and am somewhat of a hidden romantic. My parents made me do cotillion for 4 years growing up, so I can throw down a mean box step while being pretty solid at always upholding manners and respect at all times. Some interesting facts about me.... I love to travel. Let's pack the bags and go! Actually, who needs stuff as long as we have a tent! The other times was through an exchange program I helped set up. Work has me driving to interesting places sometimes and I love meeting new people. I have been to about 75% of the states in the US and hope to knock them all out one day. I am a nerd at heart and love all things within that spectrum. Cooking is a guilty pleasure of mine where I pretend I am on top chef just throwing random ingredients into who knows what and hoping it turns out well. Even when it doesn't it was still fun trying! Although I am social and go out, I really enjoy deviating from the bar scene. On a lot of nights, I light up the outdoor bonfire pits at my place and just relax. I am a huge nerd at heart and I am proud to let my geeky side out often. Having a sense of humor is a must! Life is no fun if you take it too seriously, so I love to be goofy without caring what others think. I am big on all things within the outdoors spectrum of hiking, rock climbing, rafting, etc. and have no problem getting dirty. As far as taking care of myself goes, I have a passion for running and obstacle races. Not saying you have to be an athletic extremist, but just value and want to take care of yourself. If you can't take care of yourself, how can you take care of someone else? I come from a large Greek family, so family is very important to me. I value honesty and am big on keeping my word.
